Disastarous experience. Kitchen ordered THREE months ago but held up at last minute by their alleged claim that chosen benchtop was suddenly NOT available until mid January and offer of a substitute benchtop but at a consideraly higher price. This in turn has led to additional considerable additional expense due to delays in other renovation work and having to keep household items in storage longer. Impala has totally neglected to respond to numerous emails and SMSs seeking explanations and cost breakdowns and do not reply to phone messages.It looks as if we will need to take the case to Fair Trading.
Long waits and then being served the wrong dish for 2 out three courses is well below par for this type of restaurant. When the right dishes finally came food was reasonable but nothing exceptional hence not at all high on the value for money scale. Was this a consequence of choosing the fixed price menu?
