This place really annoys me how they advertise that they have the best service and LOWEST PRICES which is a complete lie and I don't see how they can legally get away with it. I probably shop here once every four months. It's true that they have do have the largest range and a great shopping experience but they kill it with the shocking customer service and ripoff pricing. If you can ever find someone to serve they don't know what you mean or they think your talking about something completely different, I went to this store two weeks ago now for a roof vent as my customer needed her's replaced $94 was the cheapest they had. And it was in Zinc which is usually least expensive. They're Stormwater 6.0 metre lengths are $24. Mitre 10 Mega Pakenham and Bunnings Pakenham have them for $13.90. Just a ripoff, not enough competition

Approximate cost: $94.94

Great little milk bar, not a fair hike from my place. They are actually cheaper than the supermarkets which are just becoming bigger milk bars, it used to be that safeway and coles were cheap and milk bars you paid for convenience which you don't here very cheap. And they have Big M classic Love em!

Approximate cost: $20

Great local business, great range, have everything, from all the oldies to the new releases in all genres which is good compared to Sanity who have like a corporate list of bands and artists they stock. Cheaper than anyone.

Approximate cost: $15

Another Hardy's business and run spectacularly. The store is full of happy smiling staff, well set out store, easy to find your way around. You'd think that being the only electronic goods shop in Pakenham that they'd be a rip off. Leigh in TVs is a star had to upgrade to the new Freeview he ran me through everything to make it easy for me as cheap as possible, we figured that a digital TV would be best for me. 26 inch Panasonic LCD for $499 was very happy was last of an old line. Overall Hardy's Retravision would have to be the best in town

Approximate cost: $499

The customer service is brilliant they have a drive thru Timber Department which has a smiling team five or six standing there waiting to serve, as soon as I'm out of the car there is some there to help me. The power tools and hardware aisles are full of staff, never too busy to give me a hand. Always full of stock never been in there and they've been out of anything. But the best part is that they know what they are talking about, and are by far the cheapest in town the store always clean and tidy which is a change from other hardware stores of its size, paying for what I pick up is easy too, there is never a line at the Trade/Plumbing counters. I don't understand WHY you'd shop anywhere else?‎

Approximate cost: $I spend $1000s a month
