After reading all of the rave reviews for this restaurant on Facebook, I decided that I must try something from their menu. I was greeted by a lady at the front door (who I later found out was Bernadette, the owner) and was asked where I wanted to sit. After choosing my seat I then read through the menu, there was so much to choose from. I asked Bernadette if there was anything that she would recommend. She recommended to me the Zuri Gschnatzlets, which is veal and mushrooms in a cream sauce with a Swiss style potato rosti. I have posted a picture, the only down side is that there were no diet drinks, but upon talking to the owner I found out this is because she believes in only serving good quality foods etc. This is understandingly why she had no diet soft drink with artificial sweeteners. The food tasted great, I would have loved to have tried one of their desserts but I was too full after this meal. I will definitely have to go back and try out some of the other food on the menu. If you are going to be driving up the Bruce Hwy to go north...then you must pop in and have a meal here. Or if you are a local and want a good meal then you need to discover, just like I did, the great food and service.

I have been going to Sizzlers since they first opened and have been dining in the Morayfield store since it opened. We asked a question of the girl at the front of house and she said she didn't know and would find out she never got back to us. The girl who was our "server" dropped off our toast and the last time we saw her she was going home. Our meals were delivered by the manager who had just started for the day. Now normally someone comes back and asks if everything is okay with your meals - never happened. I had to go almost into the kitchen at one stage (there were no employees in the restaurant area) to advise that they had run out of ice cream and one of the desserts could only be described as "been played with". Their mince was gluggy (need to add a bit more water) their iceberg lettuce was swimming in water (had to drain it the best I could) there was sultanas in the Parmesan cheese, mint sauce streaked across the 1000 island dressing, corn in the grated carrot just to name a few issues. I thought that there was suppose to be someone keeping an eye on the salad bar (after that scare a few years back). The floor where we sat had food over it, not tiny pieces but big amounts but I didn't say anything at the time because they would have brought out their broom and swept which also brings out the dust (they should purchase a dust buster). This store has a notice up for renovations, I hope they also renovate their service and the method in which they keep an eye on their salad and dessert bar. On a side note, both my husband and I have been ill through the night with the same symptoms you get with food poisoning, has you wondering.

This Butcher is under new management. The service is very friendly and helpful. Shop looks very clean. I bought the chicken sausages with pineapple and cheese. You can really taste the cheese. I am very fussy with sausages and these were great!

I had the $20 all you can eat smorgasboard which had 4 meals to chose from. There was a lentil one and a veg one. I tried the veg one and it was yummy. I also had the Butter Chicken which was quiet mild in spice heat and I had the Beef Vindaloo which is quiet hot in spice heat. The Entrees included in the smorgasboard were Onion Pakoras, I found these to be very yummy (has no meat) and I had Tandoori chicken pieces. Desert consisted of fresh fruit and custard as well as Gulab Jamuns - I won't tell you what is in them, but they are very very sweet. I put mine in the custard to try and tone down the pure sweetness of them. Overall, the price was great, the service was great and the smorgasboard is the best way to go to get to sample different dishes. I will be back for more.

We were the only customers in the restaurant. It took approx 30mins to get an Entree of a Taco. The shredded beef of the taco had no flavour; a lot of very hot water ran out of the beef and onto my plate. I say this was because they do not cook their beef fresh but in fact microwave it. My main course was a Burrito Supreme. There was nothing supreme about it, again the beef was tasteless, thank goodness I ordered the nbr 2 salsa so I had some flavouring. Drinks - a 250ml bottle of softdrink costing $3.70. The waitress didn't know about the food and spent time chatting to the other staff member. She removed our plates but we had to ask her to remove our softdrink bottles. She replaced my knife and fork but didn't replace the napkin. We also had a midge flying around our table. The salad that went with the Burrito was pathetic the one olive that was part of the salad wasn't even pitted. Even if someone paid for my next meal, I still would not step foot in there again. I would rate this place as a Cafe level not a restaurant level.

The service was great, very friendly. The food was very fresh and generous serving size. Price was average for other burgers joints but the quality was far superior. We will drive the 29.3kms again to eat at this Cafe. If you like great service and fresh tasting food then this is the place for you.

I have been to several Sizzlers restaurants and my husband and I used to rate Caboolture as the best. The service is starting to go down a bit, my husband ordered the steak and prawn meal but the meal came out without the prawns, how could something like that be overlooked. I had one of those mini burgers that were nice until I got some plastic with my burger. The person who is suppose to be looking after the salad bar did nothing when a child was picking out one spoon then putting it back and picking out another and putting it back. We now go to Strathpine as Caboolture just isn't the best anymore.

The food is great, the service is great! Loads of parking. We have gone there several times for wedding anniversary and birthdays. You can even get on the email list where they will email you about upcoming events.
