The Avenue is an awesome local hairdresser. They always do their best to fit you in and the pricing is quite competitive. The salon is quite modern and beautiful. Every time I come here, my hair is done according to what I have asked and I leave feeling great, highly recommended.

My friends and I were really excited to try out La Tavernetta Osteria for lunch over the weekend, and it was a disappointing experience. The service was friendly and efficient, but that is the only positive about the restaurant. The food took hours to come out and was overpriced. We ordered all different items off the menu, none of them were cooked particularly well and were not enjoyable to eat. I will not be giving this restaurant a second chance, and I would not recommend it to others.

Bamboo Court is my local Chinese restaurant/take away place and it is pretty good. The staff take the time to get to know their customers and the food quality is top notch. If you live in the area, this place is worth visiting.

Three Chimneys is an exciting, trendy café in Wollongong. The food is hearty and fresh, and the artisan breads are amazing. The decor is modern and a talking point. There is something for everybody here, it is worth a checking out.

The seafood here is sensational, a little pricey but really good quality and super fresh. The only thing I find disappointing is the customer service. I eat here pretty regularly and one time I asked to change an item in one of their packs for a cheaper item that I could actually eat (I have dietary issues) and they would not accommodate me. I will continue to eat from here, but it does affect my opinion of the shop.

Big John's restaurant is pretty cool, the menu is huge and the meals are huge. The amibence is family orientated and it is great place to dine with family and friends.

Blue Buddha is an exciting new Thai place in my area. All your favourite Thai dishes are on offer, but I do feel that some of their dishes are modern and unique to their reastaurant. The food was delicious, and the customer service was good. I will be back and I recommend Blue Buddha to others.

Wow! This restaurant is amazing and worth the hype. The décor is lovely and makes you feel like you are overseas. The service was brilliant and the food was even better. Best spring rolls I have had anywhere. It is expensive, but totally worth it!

Exquisite Turkish restaurant in Newtown. The servings are generous and flavoursome. Ferah is decorated quite nicely also. I will be back and I suggest others check it out also.

Pool Café is a pretty cool café and located in great spot. Very popular with the locals, every time I have been I have had to wait for a table. The food is delicious and the service is on the ball, worth a visit!
