Macchina Workshop is an exciting new café in Sans Souci, constantly buzzing with patrons. It is stylish and got that industrial look. The staff here are bubbly and friendly. The menu sounds amazing, but both my husband and I found the food very average and overpriced for what it was. I was disappointed and I will not be back.
Chilli Man Thai is a good local restaurant. It is very popular and can get quite busy which is always a good sign. The food is delicious and good quality, and the staff are lovely. Worth a visit.
Ayurve Beauty & Wellness Day Spa is amazing! I visited here today for the first time and enjoyed an exquisite 60min massage. Fortunately for me, I was given a voucher a gift so I only had to pay the difference which was minimal. The service I received here was brilliant, I felt a million bucks when I left. The only negative would be that I could here the other staff having a chat in the hall for ages which made my experience slightly less relaxing. Overall, Ayurve was very good and I will be coming here for another treatment in the future.
The Italian Kitchen is a lovely new restaurant in the new restaurant precinct at Westfield Miranda. It is lively and boosts inside and outside dining areas. The menu is a modern twist on some Italian classics, and looked quite promising. My friend and I sampled a few different dishes, which was nice enough but not as exciting I was expecting. We did not finish any of the dishes, and they were not cheap. The staff here are really nice, but slow in doing anything which I found frustrating. I will try eating here again, and I am hoping there will be more of a wow factor on my second take.
Love love love Nefis Gozleme! If you love gozleme this is the place to eat at when you are at Miranda next. They serve all different types of gozleme, all made to order right in front of you. The ladies here are lovely, and always indulge my request for an extra lemon wedge with my gozleme. The fact that there is always people here is testament to how awesome Nefis is. Well priced, good quality, a great addition to the new food area at Westfield Miranda. Check it out!
Approximate cost: $10
I have been coming to Cafe Neptune for years, and I have always had good experiences. I came here again last night after a long absence and I was bitterly disappointed. The food has gone downhill badly! My food was not cooked properly at all, it was tasteless and almost un-eatable, same as my friend's meal The staff were brilliant, I have nothing but positive feedback for them. Overall, Café Neptune is expensive but terrible café food which I will not be subjecting myself to again.
Absolutely delicious! sums up Adriano Zumbo's latest store in Waverley. This Adriano Zumbo store has his famous macaron offering, all different desserts and artisan breads as well as books/macaron mix etc - heaven to anyone with a sweet tooth. Everything I have tried from here has been of the highest quality. It is always busy in here, so they could benefit from putting another staff member on. The customer service in here is really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! I will certainly be back for more.
Din Tai Fung is an awesome place to eat! Be prepared for a wait during peak times as this restaurant is very popular, we waited 40 minutes on Friday night. All the dishes are delicious and designed to be shared. The service is pretty efficient considering how busy the restaurant is and I felt that all our food came to the table fairly quickly. I was disappointed that some of my favourite dishes from the franchise in Singapore were not on the Australian menu. Overall, I was impressed with Din Tai Fung and I will be back to eat here again soon!
I was not a fan of The Vic at Enmore at all. I came here for a 30th on the weekend, and we had the outside, undercover deck area allocated to our group. The outside was nice enough. The inside is pretty yuck, with a foul smell present. The toilets were deplorable, I would have avoided it if I could have. The staff were friendly and quick, but honestly both the food and drinks were overpriced. I love a good pub, with character etc, but The Vic did not stack up for me. I will not be going to The Vic ever again unless absolutely necessary.
Driftwood By The Bay is a brilliant café in La Perouse. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner with their diverse menu and Italian cuisine. This café is so nice to sit at on a warm day. The food is delicious and well priced. The customer service is very friendly and prompt, the café is clearly well managed. Highly recommended to all!
