I came here for some facial treatments, but the Millennium Clinic mostly specialises in hair repair. I had a good experience and learnt a lot about scar repair. The lady I had was very knowledgeable, I would come back again.
I was really excited when I tried out The Coachmen, I had heard great things and was excited to eat Russian Food. I came here for a function and whilst I had a good time with the other guests, that is where my enjoyment ended. The food took ages to come out and when it came it was pretty bad, I left hungry. Also, the pricing is more on the expensive side. I will not be coming here again.
I really enjoy eating out at Lysanders Cafe which is within Shellharbour Square. The cafe has an all-sorted menu, so will always find something that you feel like eating. I think the prices have gotten a bit expensive of late, which is a surprise since there is now more dining competition in the new parts of the center. Food and service is consistently good at Lysanders.
Good local salon, I enjoy getting my hair done here. The ladies do a decent job and the pricing is fair. The ladies are lovely and always offer you a beverage when you arrive. Straighty 180 is not my favourite hairdresser to go to, but I have never had a bad experience going there. It is in a convenient spot at Brighton-Le-Sands.
Fuse Silver sell beautiful silver jewellery, often featuring semi-precious stones and one-off designs. I pop in here pretty often picking up new pieces. I especially buy lots when they have sales, which I keep an eye out for. It is only a small store, and can get busy during those sale times. Check it out, you can pick up great gifts for both men and women that will be both special and original.
Love love love eating here! The Thai food at Nakhon is fantastic, I either eat here or get take-away from here at least once a week. The food at Nakhon is consistently of a high standard and I enjoy eating it. Great choice of restaurant if you are heading to Brighton-Le-Sands and want something different.
Really handy Italian take-away place, I often buy my lunch here. They have a decent selection of pastas and salads. A bit pricey, but enjoyable food. The coffee is awesome, I like getting coffee at Rossini the most. Staff are welcoming.
Fantastic city florist! Lots of ready-made bunches of flowers, all well-presented and displayed in price groups. You can quickly pick up a bunch or box of flowers at any time before jumping on the trains or bus'. Staff are very helpful.
I absolutely love going to gigs at The Metro, it has a great atmosphere and a more intimate feel than the large concert venues in Sydney. I have seen Teenage Fanclub and Snow Patrol here, and both concerts were amazing, I felt very close to where the bands were performing. I wish more bands would put on gigs here.
I tried out Jasmin Lebanese Restaurant for the first time last night, and my friends and I had a fabulous time. I knew in advance that the place was popular, so we have to wait outside a short while for a table. It is always a good sign when people are willing to wait for a table instead of just going to another restaurant.
Once we were inside, we ordered a selection of different foods to share. I was worried that we had ordered too much, but sure enough we polished off each and every plate. The food here was delicious. Awesome kafta, tender chicken, falafels, traditional dips and kebbeh, the fussiest eater would enjoy the food at Jasmin. I found the staff quite welcoming also.
Best bit was when we paid, only $53 for four people! I was impressed with the value for money, we had stuffed our faces and it did not even cost what you would expect in other restaurants. Be prepared, they only accept cash payment. Overall it was an awesome dining experience and I will be going to Jasmin again.
Approximate cost: $53
