Lake Crackenback Spa & Wellness Centre is simply amazing! The ladies there are personable and helpful, fitting my friend and I in for joint massage treatments at the last minute on a long weekend. The treatment itself was of the highest quality, I had a recent injury which the ladies really took care of for me. The products smelt great and I even fell asleep during my massage, it was that relaxing. A bit expensive, but it was a Day Spa in a Resort which is consistent with other resort day spas I have been to. The teas they serve you and also sell if you want to purchase, was a delighful extra. Worth a visit when staying in the Snowy Mountain region.
Approximate cost: $110
Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery and Café truly is a gem in the Snowy Mountains. I came here for the first time over the weekend when the weather was horrible, cold and wet. My friend, hubby, 6month old baby and I dined here and sat outside in it! We didn't let the weather spoil our experience though. The food is German themed and quite delicious. I had the spinach and ricotta dumplings which was different. Afterwards we did some schnapps tasting and shopping inside. Highly recommended, this place was awesome!
Red Chilli Sichuan is a brilliant Chinese restaurant serving traditional Chinese cuisine at its finest. The restaurant is busting with patrons which is testament to the quality of the food and customer service. I particularly enjoyed the pork is peking sauce which comes with pancakes to make little wraps out of. A bit expensive, but very yummy!
Thai Moon was satisfactory food and at standard Thai meal pricing. Unfortunately, the food delivery was 40 minutes late from the designated delivery time which was quite annoying. The delivery man also woke my baby when I had texted him asking him to knock not ring the doorbell because the doorbell frightens the baby - not impressed! We probably will not order from here again, unless everywhere is closed in the area and we have a craving for Thai food,
Lai Wah is one of the local Chinese restaurants and my hubby and I gave it ago via menu log. Pretty good offer, minimum order $40, but 10% off your first order. The delivery was prompt and the servings were decent. However the food was average, I have had better Chinese food. A bit disappointing, not sure I would order from here again.
Parea Xpress is the best Greek take away shop around, and the perfect way to enjoy the restaurant across the road's delicious food when time is a factor. All your Greek favourites and on the menu and cooked fresh for patrons. There is some seating available. I think the food is a little pricey for take away, but the quality is amazing. Highly recommended!
Love love love Cafe Bella Dee! This cafe has the most exquisite french decor and vibe to it with the old-fashioned music in the background, you feel like you are dining in Europe. They have a scrumptous breakfast and lunch menu, with something for everybody. The pricing is fair and the service is top-notch. This cafe is always packed out, worth a visit!
My husband and I tried Thai Times Ninety Nine for the first time last night and we were disappointed. The menu had all the usual Thai favourites, and we ordered a selection to share. The service was efficient and friendly. Unfortunately the food was lacklustre and flavourless. We did not enjoy any of the dishes we ordered and probably will not order from here again.
Coffee in the Park is a great little cafe/eatery in a beautiful spot at Dolls Point. Perfect to stop at when using the park facilities or bike track nearby. I like coming here with my mothers groups as there is plenty of space for all the prams. You can grab a coffee, or lunch, sit inside or outside. Worth a visit when in the area.
The Shed Cafe is one a cool new eatery in the new rooftop section at Hurstville Westfield. Its menu has various dishes, but something for everybody. I tried the pizza last night, which was tasty but a little overpriced for what it was. Same as my friend's dish which was the chicken bosciola. The staff were bubbly and on the ball. Coffee here is delightful. Worth a visit when attending the cinemas next door.
