Great photography gets shown here regularly, a must-see for photography enthusiasts/appreciators. Their stunning artists include the notable Narelle Autio, Gilbert Garcin and Trent Parke.
A great gallery for photographic exhibitions. The facility also offers available darkroom access (wet photography), though a purchased membership is required.
An incredible collection of contemporary Asian art, the White Rabbit gallery is one of my favourites. The curating is well-done and the pieces in themselves are quite amazing. The library on the top floor is also a very good resource to learn more about the current exhibition.
An incredible collection of art - my regular go-to for a reliably well-curated exhibition or two. The John Kaldor Family Collection is particularly astounding (my favourites include some Rauschenberg gluts) and Francis Bacon is exhibiting now - if not, soon. Highly recommended.
One of the best coffees in Sydney and served with a great atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and the seating is really comfortable. The cafe is also a wine bar (I'm assuming by night).
A really fun place to gorge and eat as much food as you can. Dishes are great and the choice is pretty big.
A highly recommended yum cha in Chinatown - a little on the side (within this strange shopping center) but really worth it. Sometimes the wait/queue is a little long, but the food is always really tasty. I'd say that the food is a little bit on the oilier side here, but it seems fresher/high quality.
Used to be our family spot for a regular yum cha but haven't been here so frequently in the past year. Food is delicious, though the atmosphere of the place makes it a little noisy if anything.
A great spot for yum cha in Chinatown - the food is always really good and the staff helpful. If anything it can get a bit busy but for our family of 7, we usually don't have to wait for a lunch time spot.
I am a slight facebook addict though I have been better in the past year. Very handy for chatting to friends who have moved overseas/are traveling; the new calendar view for events/birthdays is also very useful!
