Love their biscuits especially the almonds ones- won't go anywhere else for them. Their custard tart is also commendable- one of the best I've tasted. Love the freshness of their goodies.

Despite everything else in the CBD being overly priced, Leah's Wax Works is not. I had a half leg wax done and was in and out in a jiffy- and it only cost me $16! I was very happy with the service as I had previously been burnt at the previous place I had my legs done- but these guys had the wax at a tolerable temperature

Although from the outside, the Metro looks like a dirty, neglected venue I was surprised to find that the inside was quite the opposite! Upon arrival the queue was out the door and down the alleyway, however they were quick to check our ID and tickets and get everyone indoors (thankfully, since it was quite cold!) For under 18's they draw a 'x' on your hand to deny access to the bar, and the 18's + get a wrist band. The layout of the theatre is well though out with a small mosh pit area at the front, several elevations behind and a standing area at the top- so you'll always score a good spot and get to enjoy the show.

Have only been here once for lunch and thought it was great. You definitely feel like you're in a different century with the way its is furnished- which some people will like, and others not so much. I stuck to a Chicken Burger which was packed with yummy flavours and decently sized too! Friendly service too which was a bonus

I had a back and foot massage here the other day and although it was a little painful at the time, my back felt much more free afterwards and my legs, lighter. They are really thorough with your massage and make sure they hit all the right spots of tension. Although they're not overly friendly, they were polite, which is all you really hope to expect.

I was part of the bridal party for a friends wedding and they used this company for transport to the church. The limousine was absolutely beautiful- inside and out! The driver was friendly and we received drinks for the ride there

Went here for a work function and absolutely fell in love with the restaurant! For starters, its located on the bay so the waterview at night is spectacular. Despite a few (too many!) drinks, I do remember the cannelloni and creme brulee being decently sized and fantastic. Definitely bowl licking material!

The food court at Birkenhead Point has definitely had a makeover and is now bursting with fabulous food outlets like Gozleme Turkish House. The Gozleme sold here is absolutely mouth watering and what makes it even better is that they make it fresh as you order so its extra hot! I'd definitely recommend the potato, spinach and shallot one - its flavoursome and they're very generous with their ingredients. Also, they've never burnt my gozleme which is another thumbs up for them. It appears to be a family owned and run business and all the staff are really friendly and experienced. You can see their kitchen area which appears to very clean, and the cooks all wear hair nets. So 10/10 for their hygiene practices too! If you're headed to Birkenhead Point, make sure you stop off here for some mouthwatering, re-energising food.

This place sells a range of panini, pastries, pasta and pizza's. So far I've only tried their panini and thought it was brilliant! The rolls are quite expensive, but are large and quite filling. They've got their own tables and chairs inside, otherwise you can grab a table inside the food court or enjoy your meal outside by the water. Staff are really friendly too :)
