A mate told me about this place. When we went on a saturday morning, it was packed to the brim and there was a line flowing out the door. This is just casual dining, we didn't manage to get a seat and just did take away. I bought a noodle soup meal which I felt was average and very affordable at $8.50. I think my friend had the better option - must get the pappadams since I had noticed everyone who had ordered had a version of this. I've heard it is authentic.
Woud go again for a casual dining experience.

My favourite korean restaurant in Perth. the food is authentic and cheap. The service is standard, however it is quite a popular venue and on a busy night or day you may have to wait in line. From what I remember there is no bookings available.

I enjoyed Toto's for the vietnamese food and I'm from a vietnamese background. The portions are tad small for what you usually get at other vietnamese restaurants for a comparative price. However the interior and lively vibe which differentiates toto from other Vietnamaese restaurants close by.
Service can be a tad slow as well as they are usually packed the brim whenever we pass by.

The food is good. The price is affordable and there are some good deals on certain nights. However I honestly didn't like the interior or the run down furniture with all the drawings on it. The vibe was nice but not a place I'd return to any time soon.

The quality and portions of the food here is great. Very interesting combinations of food here. I had the ginger miso fish with rice & salad. Done really well and was about $13 for dinner.
The interior is looks like a run down old deli. As long as you don't mind that and you are their for the food. It won't dissappoint.

I always come back to the Imp no matter the time of day. It's good for a quick coffee stop or a nice modern australian brunch with mates. At night, after a meal we would head down to the Imp for their selection of desserts available.
It's a tiny niche cafe but if you can find seating, it's definitely worth trying out anything from their menu. Quick and friendly service.

This was a gem of a find as it's hidden within the suburbs around residential homes. it was unsuspecting that a fine dining thai restaurant was within this area. The service was superb every step of the way. Very courteous and attentive staff.
Food quality is of high standards. This place won best 2014 Thai restaurant for Perth - you can see the award on their web page. I had their special pork belly and the crackling was out of this world. Flavours can be tad on the spicy side. If you are worried about this - talk to the staff who are very accommodating. Portions of sizes are small but so are the prices for something of this par. My partner and I had 2 mains, 1 entree and 1 dessert and totalled for $70.
The space is small but the noise wasn't too loud. I could hear my partner speaking. It's a good first date or romantic date setting.
Highly recommended to all my friends and family.

Went on a weekend and had to wait an hour to get a seat. we got to walk around mount lawley and they texted us when they had a seat for two. Lighting is real dim and hard to hear anything as it's quite loud. Service was great - got good recommendations from the waiter. Food came out relatively fast. Mainly tapas style and there are shared set menus on mondays or quieter days for really cheap like $30 per person. Check out their website for these deals. Food - we tried chilli crickets and they rocked our socks! if you don't want to try anything to bizzare then there is a lot of flavoursome "normal" items.
Love this place. Looks amazing when you walk into this unassuming warehouse on a block of businesses. One wall is plastered with wine and the other you can see all the staff cooking or preparing meals in the half open kitchen. Huge place and everytime I go for lunch it's packed. Have rows upon rows of communal tables and a couple two seaters at the back. Great atmosphere , very classy. Open any time for breakie, lunch or dinner till late. You have to try the fresh bread they make with their wood fire bakery at the back. Prices are on the higher end for meals ranging from $20-30 mains and share meals $15 each. Had the lamb ribs with mint sauce - top layer extremely crisp with cooked to perfection. Haven't had an average meal here yet! Definitely try it out if you haven't. Service is variable - sometimes you can get poor service just because they are so busy.
Megan is a mum who had a hobby for baking and has now turned this into an award winning business and stocks for local cafes. You can order pre mix baking sachets or her home baked goods can be picked up from her freo residence. I've also seen her at market stalls at upmarket (wedding market at UWA every 2-3 months). She does a variety of cupcakes to salted caramel cakes and much more. Her goods always run out fast at the markets. She's a very humble and lovely lady to chat to. She also does cake workshops and you can get more information on these via her business Facebook.
