I have ordered two items from Zanui on Friday, I then wanted to cancel the order on Monday and was told that this was not possible as the items have been picked up for delivery. I was told I would have to wait to recieve the goods, then follow the return process and then wait for a pick up again to get it delivered back in the warehouse. Where a simple message from Zanui to their delivery partner to return the goods to the warehouse would have prevented all this hassle. Through multiple emails and phone conversations, I was assured that Allied Express was booked to pick up the items from my apartment block today from 9:00am-18:00pm. Zanui are deducting over $70 for the shipping costs (other companies charge $20 for a similar order & using Allied Express as delivery courier as well). Of course Allied Express never showed up today to pick up the items, even though this is a third day I had to stay home (first two days to wait for delivery and third day to wait for pick up). I have wasted 3 days of my personal leave, paid $70 and this is the service I receive. I have also spoken to the customer representative today who has assured me that Allied Express would definitely come to pick up the items, I have asked him to please double check and confirm that they were still coming, but nope, for $70 he could not even bother to confirm with Allied Express. They even suggested I leave the items unattended but how would that work in a large block of flats, and what if someone else takes the parcel, Zanui will then take no responsibility for lost items. So how can they even offer such advice? Unfortunately it looks like they will make me jump through a few more hoops before I may or may not get my refund of $550 back. I am extremely disappointed with their services so far and I am just really sorry I placed that order when I should have gone to a proper shop and received proper services.
