Me and my partner had an amazing time staying at these beach houses. Our beach house had 2 bedrooms but one was locked as we only requested for one. The beach house was beautifully furnished with balinese inspired furniture. Although we could not see the beach, we could hear the waves if we sit on the balcony which overlooks the bush. Privacy is pretty good (not sure about the school holiday period) , and the beach is just a minute or two away from the house. Service when we arrived was friendly and warm.
Only negative was that our drain hole for the bath spa was damaged and could not close, but we did not bother about this. Highly recommended

Love Blackstar coffee! Have to say it's one of the best coffees in Brisbane! Friendly and quirky staff, great atmosphere, amazing smooth coffee, yummy pastries/cakes, affordable! what more could you ask for?
although they once burnt my partner's coffee slightly, but hey, people make mistakes at times. :)

Pretty good , tasty , and cheap food from these guys! Service is mostly good, but can be inconsistent at times. Servings are generous, and flavours are authentic in most dishes.
Compare it to the asian food stall beside them on a busy day, and you'll see Two Wongs pretty much beat them hands down.

Been to Laksa Hut a couple of times, (takeaway and eating in). I grew up on malaysian/singaporean food and I have to say that the quality of the food is not too bad. What disappointed me the most was the value, and how small the portions are in comparison to the pricing. For the same price, you could get almost double the portion of the food (not the rice) somewhere else, and it'll be tastier even. Service is inconsistent.
The bubble tea is very disappointing indeed, and is very diluted. Hopefully it was just a once off event, but I will never go back for a bubble tea.
