Looked for an Albion coffee place whilst my car was in the shop. A handful of people sitting outside on a Wed around 9am was a good reason to go in. Service excellent. Coffee - no complaints though a little on the exe side given I pay $2 for my skinny flat white at 9am happy hour near my work. This place obviously does fresh bakery items too - though I didn't try any, I may another day as they offer many gluten free and healthy baked bread and goodie options

Could it be the beer talking... hmmm - the pizzas here are divine! Full of cheesey goo and wonderful after a night out drinking. Right in the heart of Fortitude Valley. You're looking at $7 for a big slice. Fast and friendly service (these guy put up with a lot of drunk people so be nice to them). I love the mushroom one.

I can't believe there's no review for this awesome pub!? We go here once in a while for work Fri lunches. There is an 'old-mans' pub out the front where you can go and place your race day bets but don't be fooled by it's frontage as out the back there is a huge garden bar - enough for at least 200 people. There is a big bar in the middle and a servery to the side. It's well thought out with lots of tables and chairs to communicate around. Meals were pretty good and very reasonable priced. I had the beef and noodle salad.

I loved this place. Rooftop bar amongst it all in Fortitude Valley. You have to walk down an alley and proceed up an elevator to get there - very VIP-ish. Once there, it is open planned with plenty of places to sit and lounge around on. The washroom area is unisex. We went for a friends 30th where he hired out an area and they catered food. I loved it. Will go back.

Right on the river - what more could you ask for. A beautiful spot to have lunch and drinks. You don't even have to play bowls.

You can hold functions there. You can book a BBQ where the chef will cook your pre-ordered meat (min 10 ppl)

I forget about this little gem. Being new to Brisbane, we actually meant to go to the Methyr Bowls Club but found this little gem instead. Ok so not on the river but cheap beers and a friendly atmosphere.

As visitors to Melbourne, we'd been here once before about 7 years back and loved it. Unfortunately I was really disappointed this time round. I can't pin-point why as most displays were familiar but I was really looking forward to the glowing star-fish and sea-horse area which I could not find. Highlight was seeing that enormous crocodile - oh how nature is divine.

Brought my overseas visiting mum here for lunch one week day (a couple of years back) and loved it. What a great spot - on the river. To be fair the restaurant was comfortably filled ie. the staff were not rushed off their feet and so, the service we received was excellent and the seafood was delicious. Would recommend again.

The only downside is that they kept me waiting 30mins for my 9.30am appointment. At 10am they ushered me in and apologised and then very thoroughly and professionally checked, scaled and polished my teeth. Xray for one side of mouth was part of the Living Social deal. An Xray for the other side of mouth would have cost $45. Really recommend as this Dentist seemed very thorough and experienced and cared for my well-being. Definitely recommend.

Called in here one Sat am. to grab three takeaway coffee's. You can't go wrong with Campos coffee so thumbs up there but the service is was only ok. The server's mind was elsewhere as in busy, busy and service was not personal. Took my order and that was that. Didn't find them overly fast as per previous comment but then it was busy so they must sell quality food :-)
