Another fine Fitzroy live music establishment and watering hole. Grungy interiors perfectly mismatched with a cute little beer garden out the back.
I really enjoy this place on a friday afternoon. Generous extended happy hour where you will be able to try home-brewed beers that are unique to the area. Very relaxed atmosphere, well worth having some drinks with a small group here.
Great atmosphere, great tunes, great decor! My only gripe is the smoking are is an alcohol free zone. Still it's a pretty fun bar to visit and escape Johnson street in.
I'll start off saying the drinks are overpriced but I must add this can be overlooked as you're in the heart of the city yet somehow you're in a fine establishment. Consistently good gigs here and afterwards it's a pretty fun atmosphere on the dance floor.
Often a contender to end a friday or saturday night. Open late, decent live music, standard drink prices, dj's normally pretty fun, wide array of punters - worth a visit if you're in the area.
Really great live music venue with hearty meals. My only concern is the horrible service by one of the bar staff. Overlooking that though, stop by for a pint and a Parma.
Always blown away with the delicious fresh and healthy food and the adequately strong coffees. If you haven't tried it yet, give the vegetarian lasagne a try. I think it's on Saturdays.
Such a fresh, tasty and healthy place to stop by and have a meal at. Very good range of meals at reasonable prices. Back bar is pretty cute, as is the beer garden.
This place never ceases to amaze. A long standing and consistent favourite for my girlfriend and I has to be the nacho pizza. Fast service and consistent quality. Nobody does it like these guys!
Amazing value, very good quality too. You will be amazed how fast these guys make your meal. Once you order and are just exchanging cash, more often than not you will find you're meal awaiting you. Great to order and then takeaway to the state library.
