This review is for Chi and Co, Canley Heights NSW

verified email - 04 Dec 2014

Chi is a nice place to have a dine in meal with its warehouse type feel to it, though the food portions are a little small and the the prices are a bit much for the area.
In saying that, the food quality varies and I found the stirfries to have a bit too much vegetables added, but the stuffed eggplant was nice, as was the salt and pepper squid.
Service was friendly but average and meals arrived in a timely fashion.

The food tastes great, its a comfy bar with a nice atmosphere, laid back and relaxed. The service is good, the prices are great and it is a favorite of mine.

I love the food so my rave reviews goto the Glazed lamb ribs with cucumber and feta salad... Wood roasted asparagus, hummus, dukkah is to die for.... And if your after a special sandwich then go with the Wood roasted chicken, bacon and avocado incinerator sandwich. ALL TASTY, all modern and made with quality ingredients.
Prices are fair for the quality, service, moderness of the establishment and satisfaction level.

This review is for Coco Chocolate, Mosman NSW

As you would expect with a chocolate cafe, the menu is pretty much the same in most places but the quality is very nice and definetly not cheap in taste. The fondue is my favorite, with a hot chocolate drink.
A bit pricey but it is good quality.

This review is for Spice, North Bondi NSW

Spice is open to 10pm, 7 days a week. The place has a refreshing atmosphere for a thai restaurant. Its not the average red lantern cheap looking, cheesy old place.
The service is here is prompt and the meal is delivered to the table within a reasonable amount of time. The favs for me are the vege spring rolls, the bbq pork lettuce cups, thai beef salad, pumpkin & egg stir fry with veges, peanut sauce stir fry with veges and the grilled salmon.
Food just seems to have that handmade quality here where it is authentic in taste and has been prepared with care. The presentation of the food is simple and nice. Portion sizes are good. This place doesnt disappoint.

This review is for Nomad, Surry Hills NSW

My choice was the Arabic Beef Tartare with chips but I can assure you I had a hard time picking off the menu with many dishes that appealed to me. My meat was cooked to perfection, tender, succulent and a prime quality cut so I was very satisfied. Dessert was to die for and was a daintree choc cake. I think the total meals cost was $40.
Service was impeccable with not a fault.

This review is for Funky Pies, Bondi Beach NSW

Unique in concept in that its a vegan menu, but none of my meat eating companions have had a complaint thus far. Open till 8.30pm which is good. I like the Eezy Chick 'n' Cheezy Pie which is Chicken style chunks, creamy cheeze sauce, fresh broccoli & mushrooms. Also another favorite is the The Tuscan Pie which is Mushrooms slow cooked in balsamic vinegar with fresh rosemary, cherry tomatoes and spinach.
Eat in or takeaway. Tasty and unique.

This review is for Gelateria Gondola, Chatswood NSW

True, authentic tasting Italian gelato served up by the wonderful Italian owners who are so sweet and friendly. The service is prompt and there is a nice selection of yoghurts and gelatos available at this hidden gem which is conveniently located between Westfield and Chatswood chase.
The fact that its handmade is a selling point but you can taste the difference.

This review is for Waterhorse Wine Bar, Enmore NSW

This bar is just a great place to have a drink and something to nibble on. The menu is small but the quality is great, the drinks are good, the atmosphere is modern and comfy and the service is impeccable with the prices being cheap. A cocktail cost about $9 and the polenta fries are just mouthwatering with a tasty dip to go with it. Ive also sampled the dip and bread which was so satisfying.
If your looking for a modern, intimate and comfy plawce to kick back and have a drink and something to nibble on then look no further.

This review is for Absinthesalon, Surry Hills NSW

verified email - 03 Dec 2014

This is a very unique business as in that it offers a sort of decadent salon (if you will), that serves up absinthe - which is a distilled herbal drink with alcoholic content that is diluted with cold water. They also have beer and spirit drinks. Dont expect anything usual here, just the unique and special.
The decor is to die for, very romantic and decadently gothic.
Service is personal and prices are worth it. There is a one drink minimum and a three drink maximum I believe.

Approximate cost: $15.00
