We've been there a few times whenever I feel like having Malaysian food. Authentic. Chicken rice was good.
Prices average $12.50.
Only problem is sitting. The capacity is small, and narrow. No prior booking is available. Just wait in line with everyone else. Service turnaround per table is about 1/2hr.

I called RedKnight to come over and check if there were termites, and if there were, to give a quote to rid of them. He came over to check and found that it was just normal wood rot because of dampness. There were no termites. It was a relief. RedKnight didn't even charge me for it, but advised that I should get an inspection certificate next time for $180. He also quoted to do general pest control for $250 at my property.
Friendly service and reasonable price.
I'll look him up next time.

We were invited to an elaborate 9-course dinner. Service was very poor for restaurant standard - waitresses mainly Chinese students inexperienced in service.
Food was moderate. We were given dessert (fruit platter). The restaurant manager would give you a discount if you paid by cash, which is what our host did.
As a Chinese, I think this restaurant is not worth the price paid.

Went for a family dinner (x3). Nice ambient. Service was slow.
Prices were higher than Pino Papa and quality was not better. Serving portions were smaller too.
The only attraction was to try their rectangular pizza that goes by 10cm, 50cm or 100cm.

We went for a family dinner and was crowded, but the service was good and we were seated soon. Pizza was excellent and reasonably priced for that area. Pasta was a good helping (dinner size) and chicken salad was fresh.
One comment is that they have a small entrance with new diners and paying diners crowding around, so check out your line instead of waiting at the door.

I inquired about dry-cleaning at this laundromat but found out that it had a clothing alteration service. This is run by a professional seamstress by the name of Lisa. She told me that she was once in the clothing manufacturing business and she really has the skills for making my jackets right.

I brought my jackets for dry-cleaning but ended up having them altered here.
The workmanship by Lisa was excellent and the cost was reasonable.
To alter the back of my jacket and sleeve lengths (reduced both), the cost was $50. The other quote I got from an alteration shop within the Westfield Centre (round the corner) was $60 just for alteration to the back of my jacket.
Jeans length hemming costs $9

You need to give Lisa a week to do the great job because this place is busy.
They also have a dry-cleaning special of 2 suits (4-pieces) for $20 which is a good deal. Dry-cleaning is done within 24hrs or same day if brought in by 9am.

We had our lunch at this restaurant for a farewell. Weekday price is only $25 per head and the buffet spread was international. It included fresh seafood, salad, cold cuts, sushi, Chinese roast chicken or duck and a variety of other hot dishes...the list goes on. The dessert choices were excellent. Food quality is good as well.
Best of all, there is no limit to what you can eat.
Weekend lunch price is $28. Dinner is higher ($40 and $45)
It's safer to make bookings ahead because it gets very crowded.

The Shanghainese food is excellent. I recommend the deep-fried dumplings and the Shanghai vegetarian noodles.
Although there was a long queue at peak hours, the crew was very efficient in cleaning the tables to prepare for the next guests.
Prices are reasonable for a family.

I had Tim come over to fumigate a 2-storey 30sqm house with pool and garage. He was punctual on first appointment but had to cancel because of rain. He came promptly for the 2nd appointment and did a great job around the house and the pool area. He even sprayed the storage area in the garage ceiling. There was no mess spraying in the roof but we didn't get him to spray the house internally. He's obliging with our 'shoes off' request. His price is also very reasonable when compared to another quote. The whole job was done in 1.5hrs

I had to replace a fence because of storm damage. The quote was high for a 21m fence. But when they used a bobcat to tear down the old fence, they were not careful and it broke my concrete paving behind the fence. They also hit my water piping and broke it. Although they finished the work on schedule and it looked neat, they did not bother to fix the broken piping nor the paving. The broken piping leaked and my whole garden was flooded. The broken paving has left a large gap between the new fence and my retaining wall. They are very very reluctant to take responsibility - very amateurish in their business dealing.
