Good place for a quick bite to eat. Burgers are decent, better than other fast food chains. Burgers are HUGE so arrive hungry.
I've been going here for the last 20 years and it never disappoints. The food, whether it be lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, is always plentiful and excellent quality. The entertainment is light-hearted and fun. It's a great place for a special occasion too and the band will mention it during their show if you let them know.
I have a friend that lives near here (thankfully) so I can regularly indulge in their tasty chicken and awesome chips. Their chips are some of the best I've had from chicken shops - nice and crisp and seasoned just right.
I love the scones here. They're always fresh and nice and light. Nice place to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon for coffee and scones (or tea and cake).
I had the best ever pork belly burger here. They have an awesome range of "different" burger options - Ox Tongue, Prawn, Pork Tongue. The Chick-Chick-Bang-Bang is a must-try. The only downside is lack of seating and space but the burgers are so good that I'll happily overlook that.
Approximate cost: $11
This place has a huge range of hot dogs, the good old fashioned kind, none of this new age fancy hipster food. What more could you want, really? Hot dogs, shakes and jam donuts. This place is a winner.
More than your average fish and chip shop – really high quality fish and chips with generous serving sizes. The Fried and Grilled mixed packs are great value.
Mr Burger is an awesome burger joint. I had the Mr Meat with bacon and smoky American BBQ sauce and it was very tasty and cooked well. The Trucker Chips (chips topped with bacon, cheese and sauce) were so good. I’ll be back soon for more.
Approximate cost: $15
It's not the flashiest looking place but well worth a visit. Beautiful, fresh dumplings and you get a lot of bang for your buck - 15 dumplings for under $10.
Approximate cost: $10
I've been coming here for years since they won their Vanilla Slice award way back when. The Vanilla Slices are still pretty good when they're fresh and they make a mean sausage roll too.
