Candlebark Community Nursery Inc.

Helping people help our local environment

Our goal is to help people help our local environment by growing and planting indigenous plants.

Candlebark Community Nursery in MooroolbarkWe are a community-based not-for-profit association that grows and sells high quality, low cost, local native plants from the Maroondah, Manningham, Yarra Ranges and surrounding council areas.

Our objective is to support the conservation and enhancement of our local biodiversity assets, using indigenous plants to provide habitat for our precious native wildlife.

From humble beginnings in a Bayswater North suburban backyard in 1994, Candlebark has been growing indigenous plants for councils, community organisations, schools, public authorities, bushland reserves and friends groups, as well as supporting many community based environmental projects.
