Once a quote has been approved, we can usually secure an installation date anywhere between 5 – 15 business days after the deposit invoice is paid. We do our absolute best to push each job through as quickly as possible.
No. Quotes for installation or replacement systems are free however if your unit has broken down and you require a professional to fault diagnosis the unit out breakdown and call out fee is $214.50 inc. This Fee covers our call out charge and 1 hour’s labour for fault diagnosing the unit. If we can do any repairs on the day our technicians will liaise with the customer first before going ahead where any additional charges will be discussed.
The cost will depend on the level of service required and the number of units. A single service starts at $200.00 inc.
It is recommended that your system gets a full service and check over every 12 months. Just like a motor vehicle – your air condition machine will require serving to help with the systems optimal running and its general maintenance. If you have a system which is used daily you may require either quarterly or bi-annual services.
A regular service for split systems, cassettes & ducted systems includes:
- Washing of aircon filter with fresh water and if needed replacement as well.
- Proper cleaning of AC fan coil
- Cleaning of the drainpipe
- Identification and solution of any noise problem
- Checking the cooling status and solving issues
(this can vary per AC specialist)
Chemical hydro bag clean/maintenance for split systems, cassettes & ducted systems includes:
- Set up safe working area,
- Run and test system operation and controls,
- Clean return air filters,
- Isolate System,
- Dismantle Evaporator Covers,
- Apply Coil Cleaning Agent,
- Thoroughly Hydroclean & Sanitise system Evaporator, fan blades and drain pan. Capture waste in the treatment bag.
- Refit covers.
- Run system and test operation on all modes.
- Ensure operation on both heating and cooling modes.
- Report on general condition of unit.
- Check for signs of refrigerant leaks
- Leave area clean and tidy.
