The advanced technology is also effective in inspection of buildings and detecting pest infestations. The innovative pest detection technologies do more rather than just pinpointing and detecting where termites are hiding. This technology enables us to detect the pest hiding places without the need to penetrate the walls, the floors, or even the ceilings. Here is a breakdown of some of the innovative devices we are using for Building and Pest inspections in Brisbane.
Termatrac Thermal | Termatrac Thermal has the ability to sense significant heat sources generated by the termites. It is designed to detect any changes in temperature on the surface and other thermal inconsistency. The termatrac thermal device performs a similar functionality to the thermal imaging camera. It uses the thermal sensors to locate the termites. |
Termatrac Radar | This device has been designed using the unique patented radar technology. Through this advanced technology, Ithaca Building Inspectors detect the movement of termites and any other termite activity. The advanced termite detection device features ability to bypass different building materials making it a very useful device. It features none invasive detection technology. Therefore, using the none invasive technology we are able to confirm termite presence without breaking the ground or drilling through walls. |
Termatrac Moisture Sensor | The device uses the Omni-directional technology to set up an electric field that is able to detect the moisture level beneath any surface. An increase or decrease in moisture is also recorded and when excess moisture is reported, it confirms a potential termite risk area. This is a powerful device used by Ithaca Building inspectors to detect the termites prompting treatment of the area to avoid potential property damage. |
Tramex Moisture Encounter Plus | This is another device that is applied by Ithaca Building and Pest inspections Building Inspectors to determine the moisture level. It is a non-invasive moisture meter that uses an innovative technology for making a rapid and accurate detection. The equipment features a versatile capability when it comes to moisture detection on all building types including ceramic tiles, wooden surfaces and also painted surfaces. |
