How we're different

Made By Mobbs is a landscape design and construction company based in Melbourne. We only work on bespoke residential properties in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. That means you won’t find us working on ‘new builds’.

We have an ethical approach to our work. Wherever possible we prefer to tread lightly on our planet. We have eliminated our use of plastics, like artificial grass, composite decking and weed mat. We only use pesticides in controlled environments to minimise run-off and overspray affecting our native fauna.

So when we say we specialise, we really mean it. This approach to our work allows us to focus on designing and constructing great outdoor spaces for you to enjoy.

Variations

A site visit is almost always required.

We use site visits to discuss the scope of works, take measurements, note access options and obstacles, and in some cases, to understand the soil type.

Site visits are also a critical step in building rapport.

When we submit a quote, the price is is maintained for 14 days.

This provides you with time to review and compare the quote while at the same time minimising the risk of material costs increasing.

All quotes provide a detailed description of the works to be undertaken. This description forms the basis for our fixed price quotes.

If the scope of the job changes (ie. ‘jobs’ are added / removed from the original scope of works) then we reserve the right to apply a variation to the price.

We’ll ensure you are fully aware of the cost implications of this decision.
