Slade is a second generation builder with many years experience in the industry. Coming from a business development background, Aletha is the Stroud Homes Fraser Coast manager. Aletha has completed a building design degree to provide clients with colour selections and design proposals. Together they bring decades of experience and are passionate about building people’s dream homes.

We are really happy with our newly built gorgeous Kentucky 304 Stroud home. We’re first time builders and the team were very patient with us (even with what was probably some silly questions). Yes not everything went 100% smoothly (does it ever when building?) and yes costs increased prior to contract (as it did with every other building trade), but Stroud went above and beyond to keep us informed and up to date on everything that was going on with prices, they even showed us correspondence from their own suppliers on the price increases they themselves were receiving – it doesn’t get anymore open and transparent than that.
We had the pleasure of dealing with Bridget, Aletha, Dana and our awesome site supervisor, Scott. The whole team made the building experience enjoyable in what was/is a very tough building market. The regular communication was very helpful as we weren’t close by to our build, so this helped us feel connected and involved in the whole process.
We are very happy with the quality of workmanship, which was to a very high standard and the quality of products supplied was very high as well – from the standard 900 wide oven, right the way through to the lovely stainless steel magnet doorstops. Having Stroud take care of all the little things that you need to remember that finish off a home are what makes Stroud stand out to us – and having it all included in the one price means no nasty surprises along the way or at the end of your build.

The tradespeople have done an exceptional job. We’ve only had 2 small issues since living here and they have been rectified straight away.

Nest, that’s best for us…
We did our research, consulted with most top builders, and it was no doubt Stroud for sure.
Build was timely managed as outlined previously and seems quite solid.
Some issues were not even spotted by us, but was rectified in a timely manner for which we have great respect for these folks.
Design is absolutely perfect for us family with kids, spacious, cost effective and quite modern.
At times where we thought the overall build was taking too long, they picked up pretty well later on.
No cost change at all, although prices hiked. Stroud never asked us to pay an extra dollar.
Thank you so much Stroud Wide Bay, is the least we can say, and surely loving it!

We have been in our home for just over a week. Our house is AMAZING.From the first contact at the display home to the handover, Stroud Homes Fraser Coast has made us feel like family. All the ladies in the office were always helpful and answered any questions we had ( as first home builders, we had lots), nothing was too difficult.
Our Site Supervisor was amazing to deal with, any issues were rectified, any questions answered, he rang with Friday updates every week without fail.

We were very impressed with the local display home and the new sales agent, hence the decision to go with Stroud Homes, Wide Bay.
The process of finalising the design was a little stressful as we were living interstate.
The build itself went smoothly, and we were very grateful for the weekly contact (phone calls and photos) from site manager Scott especially as we were not living nearby. Our new neighbours also commented on the Stroud trades people keeping the site clean and tidy (helps to have the new neighbours happy).
We’ve now moved in and the few minor tweaks have been fixed.
As a wheelchair user, I’m very happy with the functionality and layout of the home, with high quality workmanship.
The final cost was above our original quote, but due to the nature of our requests (wider doorways etc), this was understandable.
Looking forward to the landscaping now and enjoying our forever home.

The 25th of June was an emotional day for our family because our lifetime dream became a reality when we received the keys to our Kentucky 348 Mountain Fascade, we truly couldn’t be happier.
Right from day one Aletha, Slade and the Fraser Coast team made us feel apart of their family. The team are very professional and couldn’t have been more accommodating.
The complete process with Stroud Fraser Coast was stress free, from signing the preliminary agreement to the contract and the most enjoyable part (for me) was the colour consultation with Aletha. She listened to our ideas and made suggestions to help design our dream home.
