    F.A.Q
    Frequently Asked Questions
    • What is the NDIS?

The NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, is a federal program providing funding to people with a disability. The NDIS was established to provide participants and their support teams with more choice and control over their funding, with the overarching aim of improving every person’s quality of life.

    • How can I prepare for an NDIS audit?

The NDIS Commission regularly audits NDIS providers to ensure that you are compliant with NDIS Practice Standards. You’ll need to have extensive documentation ready to present, including your policies, procedures and any training that your staff have completed.

Next, you’ll need to engage an auditor from the NDIS’s approved list. The auditor will rate you on a scale from notifiable non-conformity to conformity with best practice and provide you with a detailed overview of the audit, which they will present to the Commission within 14 days.

    • What happens if I fail a NDIS audit?

If your auditor determines that your organisation has a minor non-conformity or major non-conformity, you’ll be given seven days to create a corrective action plan and present it to the NDIS Commission. From there, you’ll be given 90 days to implement the corrective action plan and arrange for a second audit to ensure you are compliant. Our team can support you to put together a corrective action plan and a roadmap for bringing your organisation up to standard within the required timeframe.

    • Do you offer a cooling-off period?

Yes, we offer a three-day cooling-off period from the date of service agreement acceptance. If there is no service agreement issued, the cooling-off period will commence from the date of issuance of the invoice.

    • Do you offer any refunds for your services?

Yes, if you decide not to proceed with our services during the cooling-off period, we will provide you with a full refund. After the cooling-off period, all fees are due and payable by you, the client.
