I've been to Sean a number of times now. His very professional and very "in tune" with the clients needs and their body. Ruthless with working the muscles and releasing knots... Also incorporating breathing and sound bowls for added relaxation. Amazing benefits felt after having a session. Could not highly recommend more. Thanks Sean

I booked for a remedial massage and healing for a shoulder injury, and the treatment was the most excruciating experience, leaving me battered and bruised. I sent photos of my bruises to Acquiesce and their response was just baffling, saying it's “not everyone's cup of tea”. We agreed on a safety word ahead of the treatment, and I begged him to stop but he just kept pushing pinning me down to the table. I have serious bruises on my arms and all over my back and my shoulder injury is now much worse. When he finished the session he asked if I had any Arnica cream, so he knew he had done damage. I couldn’t sit down or lie on my back for 3 days, and 10 days later the bruising has now scarred. I wish I could post the pictures on this site to show the seriousness of the injuries caused, and I really wish more people would post reviews if they are unhappy with providers, so other consumers can make informed decisions. I am never going back and would not recommend him to anyone. This is not fake news.

Approximate cost: $130

Dear Tanya, Im so sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience, and that it was certainly not my intention but there are so many falsehoods and inaccuracies in your review I honestly dont know what to make of it.

You gave an informed consent and I only applied appropriate amounts of pressure to effect the treatment and duly responded to your threshold limits respectfully and at no point did you beg me to stop, nor did I pin you to the table. (which my colleague can attest to).

I only suggested Arnica at the end of the session because you said you were prone to bruising, which is not uncommon in older women.

I have given you a full refund as that is my business policy for unsatisfied customer.

[I don't believe] that was an "appropriate" amount of pressure. On three occasions I asked you to stop and when you began manipulating my sore shoulder I yelled "PLEASE STOP" 3 times and you refused, telling me to "go to my happy place" and that "I know it feels like your arm is going to pop out of the shoulder joint but trust me it won't" while pulling hard on my frozen shoulder. As for your colleague you referred to - we were alone in the practice as your colleague had finished for the day. I'm starting to wonder if we were even in the same therapy session. [redacted]

A+ service and quality, but it's pretty pricey... my partner bought me a massage in our apartment suite in maroochydore, which was lovely, i felt like a new woman afterwards, especially as it was 1.5 hours instead of the standard hour.

Approximate cost: $125

Thanks for feedback Kate. We have a new Introductory Offer so you can get 1 hour massage for $78. So hopefully that will make it more affordable for future holiday clients!
