We sadly had our loved van written off & KT were wonderful about it.
Frank & Paige were considerate, friendly & supportive through this whole process .
Unlike many insurers who try to reject genuine claims, KT treated us with respect.
We wish KT had other insurances, they would have us for life.

We used our road service for the 1st ever , we were left stranded for 5 hours in the heat after being told that a tow truck had been despatched . After numerous calls they finally told us ( 4hours later) they couldn’t get a tow truck to tow our disabled car and caravan 50km to Port Macquarie . Yep 50km that’s all it was . Not once did they ring us back we had to keep ringing them . Some kind people came to our assistance . So imagine if we were in a remote area , such as the Nullarbor??? We are going back to NRMA ! Should never have left them . The Insurance side of it were great with our claim !

I saved well over $400 by insuring both vehicles
under the one policy with Ken Tame & Assoc.
I had previously held insurance with a National
Insurer for nearly fifty years and they could not
come anywhere near our Quote.

On buying my Toyota Hiace camper I originally insured with a specialist insurer but subsequently found to my utter horror the attached wind-out awning was not covered. Nearing renewal time I shopped around extensively and found that even with the required Campervan Motorhome and Caravan Association (CMCA) membership factored in Ken Tame was not only considerably cheaper but offered double the personal item cover, included the awning and offered a whole host of additional extras. A friend who has a significantly sized motorhome with all the bells and whistles also obtained gobsmackingly cheaper coverage after I recommended he invest in a 5 minute phone call to obtain a quote. They also offer for additional cost a Roadside Assistance package which trumps many traditional State-based Motorists Associations that refuse to provide roadside assistance to motor homes, which was a bone of contention of my friend who had been a loyal member for decades. Bottom line is that if you own a Campervan or Motorhome and you're not insured with Ken Tame through your CMCA Membership then you are highly likely to be paying way too much for your insurance and getting second-rate coverage.

This company give roadside assistance as well as provide motorhome insurance. I have had to call them a couple of times and the assistance given is professional, caring and compassionate about the circumstances you may find yourself in at the time. Should anything major occur whilst on your travels their main concern is for the safety of the driver and passengers and their wellbeing. No time is spared in getting you the attention you need and to make sure you are well accommodated.
