I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Maroondah Service regarding the repair of my Sealer Braemer heater. I called them for assistance, and they sent a contractor to assess the problem. To my surprise, the contractor arrived only to inform me that he wouldn't touch the heater due to supposed compliance issues. This left me puzzled and frustrated, as I had previously hired two contractors from different companies who resolved separate issues with the heater without mentioning any compliance concerns.
Dissatisfied with their unhelpful contractor, I decided to seek help from another service provider. Just one day later, a different contractor arrived and managed to resolve the issue within half an hour. It is baffling to me how Maroondah Service failed to address the problem while the subsequent contractor could fix it so swiftly.
To add insult to injury, Maroondah Service has the audacity to charge me $143 as a call-out fee, claiming it is for the contractor's visit. It is worth noting that the original price they quoted me for the repair was $280, which makes their call-out fee almost half of the original cost. It is outrageous that they charged me such an exorbitant fee for a visit that lasted less than half an hour, during which the contractor didn't even bother to open the lid and identify the issue.
Despite my attempts to reason with them and request a resolution, Maroondah Service has stubbornly refused to acknowledge their shortcomings or provide any satisfactory remedy. I am now left with no choice but to escalate the matter to consumer affairs and pursue legal action if necessary.
I am genuinely puzzled as to how Maroondah Service managed to receive five-star ratings from some customers. Based on my experience, they deserve zero stars for their lackluster service, unprofessional conduct, and unreasonable fees. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this company and explore more reliable alternatives for their heating and repair needs.

We had a new heating unit installed where we received excellent service, great communication, the workers arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and answered all my ‘silly questions.’ All round excellent service.

We recently had our gas ducted heater replaced. The professionalism of Glen who provided the quote and Mike who installed the unit was excellent. In particular the level of workmanship and care taken by Mike when installing the unit was impressive. Very satisfied with the quality of work done by Mike.

Dear Maroondah Heating and Cooling team,

On behalf of my wife and I, we would like to thank the amazing staff at Maroondah Heating and Cooling for their extremely high level of professionalism and their fantastic level of customer service.

One week ago we decided to take your option of a free quote, regarding getting our internal heating system replaced, as our previous unit was installed around 45 years ago and was starting to get very expensive to run and maintain.
After booking the quote, we were visited by Dave Cullen, who arrived punctually and was very thorough in his appraisal of our requirements. Dave was very pedantic in examining the existing duct work, copper gas pipe work and the rest of our previous setup. In the end he showed me a very detailed plan which he drafted with all of the measurements, which impressed me substantially (I have a background in the trades industry). Dave advised that he could have the unit installed the following week, to which we happily agreed and submitted the required deposit.

The following week, the installation team arrived punctually and seemed very well organised. The existing asbestos flue was carefully removed and wrapped in plastic. The heater installer, Mike Hamilton, arrived together with his helper Mitch and installed the new system in a very professional manner.
Mike’s professionalism was outstanding as I closely observed the quality of his workmanship, keeping in mind that all of this was done with minimal disruption to our home.

When the installation was complete, Mike asked if I was keen to view the installation in the ceiling cavity which I found to be excellent. The installation was very well executed, including the electrical work carried out by Josh. Prior to their departure, the team cleaned the entire area and promptly and efficiently removed the old unit.
Overall I have to say that we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and our dealing with your business. Well Done Maroodah Heating and Cooling, and thank you, as we now enjoy a state of the art heating system to keep us warm this winter!

Bonaire air Con installed in late May 2018, To date it has never been used. I went overseas and after two days my neighbour heard constant water running. Her Son climbed the fence and stated that the water was gushing from the new ac on the roof, My neighbour contacted the Body Corp, who in turn contacted me, I tried ringing Maroondah and there was no reply, sent an e mail, again no reply. Body Corp were not prepared to wait any longer and sent out an Emergency Plumber. Plumber stated the Solenoid had gone in my new Bonaire Pinnacle unit. I spoke with a man from Bonaire and initially they agreed to pay the bill, now the have changed their mind and are refusing to accept responsibility for the new unused unit being faulty and are refusing to pay the bill for the Plumber. Totally unprofessional and I will be contacting the appropriate people to resolve this, presumably fair trade or someone similar. Needless to say I would not recommend Maroondah or Bonaire, it's a case of take your money and forget about you!

Can not recommend Maroondah Heating & Cooling enough! They were quick to respond and fix our gas ducted heating. Kevin really knew what he was doing and I was 100% confident in his recommendations. He showed me what needed fixing as well as clearly explaining why. Was not pushy at all and wanted to make sure I understood everything and was happy. Great service and company. Will use again for servicing!

I had my evaporated cooling installed by maroondah a few years ago and have now had my ducted system replaced. Dean not only quoted but advised me of the best system to suit my home, I was so pleased I didn't bother to get another quote. The office staff, the installers are all very professional, I would not hesitate to highly recommend your company.
