Good food tarnished by one bad staff.
I gave 1 star today because of BAD service by one of their staff.
Lets face it, you very rarely get great service at any Chinese restaurant. So anything less than good I accept.
But today, the staff actually ridiculed me! She came round with a trolley of steamed food. There was a dish, jelly like, pinkish in colour, and I did not recognise it. So I asked what it was. Her retort was, " blah blah Lahhhh," OMG.....no one in the service industry would use that kind of tone with any customer. Of course I was not going to be treated thus and told her so, and she shrugged her shoulders and pouted.
What is it with Asian restaurant staff where they feel it is ok to be rude? I am asian myself and cannot understand that.
However, the food was delightful, portion size was good, and the manager was efficient.
A tip....better customer service and more smiles will push the stars up a notch.

Have been here several times for dim sum and the food is very good. What I really appreciate is the variety -- there are a number of dishes here that were new to me and not found in every other dim sum restaurant in Perth. There is plenty of parking nearby, but the restaurant does fill up fast so be prepared to wait, especially on the weekends.

We went there for a very late afternoon dim-sum. Despite that they dim-sum is not bad, their services are very slow. We were there waited for almost half an hour with no food on the table. We ended up special order some dim-sum but eventually only turned out after more than half an hour wait.

Approximate cost: $20

The last yum cha place I tried in Morley was horrible...they've since closed down. It was so bad that my youngest cried when i took him there.

So he was not particularly impressed when i took him to Wang's. I wasn't sure either.

But was reassured once we walked in and the place was packed with Chinese people.

It must be the freshest dim sums we've ever had, it was hot rather than just warm. Dim sums were as tasty as one of my favourite, the Dragon Seafood Palace in Northbridge - my benchmark for dim sum.

The only dish that was disappointing was the squid tentacles - dry and a bit chewy without much flavour due to the lack of seasoning.

The place was hectic on a Saturday morning because it look like the word of mouth has gotten out on how good Wang's is in the Chinese community.

Consequently is was really chaotic and all the staff, family members, including grandma were running around getting food out and seating patrons. They will do well once they organise themselves.

Happy that we don't have to head into Northbridge for Yum Cha now.

We decided to try this new Chinese Restaurant in Morley for the first time for Father's Day dinner. Luckily we booked a table as they were packed! But we still enjoyed great service and the food was fantastic - really tasty. We had our two kids (Miss 4 & Master 5) in tow and they enjoyed the food and had fun looking at the fresh seafood on display in the tanks.

Approximate cost: $16-18 (dine in) take away cheaper
