As parents of 'fur kids' and regular travellers, it was important to us to find like minded people to care for our 'family' when we needed to be away. A number of years ago, through a vet recommendation, we contacted Wendy & Peter of Abbeyards (at their original location). From the moment we started talking to them, we knew they were the right people to take care of our 'kids' and we were not disappointed, they both came back to us happy and healthy every time. Abbeyards now has a brand new home and it really is a well designed facility. With lots of room to move, piped music and sound-proofing (which is especially good for our anxious staffy who hates storms!), Wendy, Peter & Chris have thought about everything to make your 'fur kids' stay relaxed and enjoyable. The location may be new, the kennels and cattery may be new, but the people remain the same still with a passion for animals and animal welfare. We cannot recommend Abbeyards highly enough. If you are looking for a kennel and/or cattery that treats your 'fur kids' like their own and makes your time away from them less stressful, then you must take them to meet Wendy, Peter & Chris you will not be disappointed.
