I would describe the cleaning as ok, when you ring the company they are lovely people but the problem is in the cleaners they send out & the cleaner I had was ok but she didnt want to spend time too much time cleaning my house she was wanted to get in and get out as quick as possible which ofcourse led to a very poor clean, when I asked her if she can spend extra time and I was happy to pay extra she said to me 'Im a cleaner not your housekeeper'

I have used Absolute Domestics for over 3 years and the quality of the clean is very good. Noone will ever clean a house the way you do, but my cleaner is very thorough and happy to do things the way I want them, even if it is not her usual way. I trust her so much that she has a key to my home, she works around me and my two littlies and is very reliable. Has not had a sick day or even been late once!

We tried to give the young cleaner a go and plenty of feedback but she just never did a very good job. Finding out she wasn't staying the whole 3 hours we paid her for was the last straw, and the company couldn't care less.

Who takes two hours to clean a kitchen? This guy did! I'd taken the day off work hoping to unpack the kitchenwares after he'd finished cleaning but the first draw I opened was full of dust so I had to ask "tell me what you have done?". Anyway, I told him to leave after another half hour and he called me back after I complained to the office (who were very helpful) and offered to come back. Hourly rates just don't work, huge wasted day and money.

I recently got a cleaner from this company. Melissa was great, but after only a couple of months they put there rates up nearly 11%, which I thought was unreasonable as they are already at the top end of the market (in my opinion). So, I've had to terminate the weekly service. It was great as they do cleaning and housework.
For a weekday service, there is a minimum of 2 hours at a cost of $61 - you supply your own cleaning products. Every additional hour after this two hours is $21 per hour.

Used these guys once to commence a regular house cleaning service. Their cleaner was difficult to get in contact with and eventually left their employ. When it came to a replacement cleaner, that seemed too difficult and they eventually advised they didn't have anyone in my area. Disappointing because on first blush they seemed like a good service, however their customer service was lacking and they couldn't provide what they initially promised.

I had a regular house clean fortnightly. I liked the service from the office staff, and the cleaners they sent were good and reliable as well. I have since tried others but havent found anyone as good as these guys yet

I thought I was just being picky, until I spoke to a colleague who it turned out has used Absolute Domestics as well and gone through 5 different cleaners! I stopped at 2 - what a waste of money.

The first cleaner would just stand around looking about a room (thinking that I couldn't see her) and perhaps wipe a table or counter top before moving onto the next room. Plain old lazy. The second cleaner wasn't lazy, she just had no idea how to clean a house at all. Even after telling her (and writing it down) exactly what I wanted done and what products worked best, she still couldn't clean a bathroom or a floor. How hard can it be to wipe a sink with a cloth (not just swishing plain old water around it and calling that clean) and push a mop over the floor? I found myself re-doing her cleaning which defeats the purpose in hiring a cleaner. I tried Absolute Domestics for 10 weeks thinking things might get better when the cleaners got used to my house, but they actually got worse. My house got dirtier and dirtier as the weeks progressed and I'm now playing catch up to get it in a reasonable condition.

I spoke to the head office about this and they offered no solution for improving the quality of cleaning. They offered me a free clean if I stayed with them, but what's the point in a free clean if I just have to re-do it myself anyway?

Like a previous poster, I was also disappointed that the cleaners choose how they want to be paid, not like it is suggested on the website. Both of my cleaners refused cheques.

I found both cleaners incredibly unreliable. The second one in particular, even though she changed the time she came every week, she still couldn't arrive on time and was always at least 15 minutes late. Sometimes I would get a hour's notice that "I can't come today, can I come tomorrow?"

No, just don't bother coming any more thanks!

I used these guys for a few months in West End, Qld and had to change girls several times. While the administration of this service is top quality, the same cannot really be said of the girls. The charges are roughly average, but you get just the basic clean. You could get lucky if you get a good cleaner.

After moved out rented unit I needed someone to come and clean it so I could get all bonds back. Absolute domestics came, they cleaned the place up, so I wouldn't have believed it I have all bonds back finally.
