I found this gem of a hair salon and have not looked anywhere else. When I first went there I gave them a challenge and they continually exceed my expectations. I give the team full reign of my hair colour and cut style. They are creative. They always check-in every appointment and listen. I am really happy with the colour products as the colour retention is great.

Today the first time I went to accent hair and beauty and m soooo happy that I made that choice. I had my full face threading and I dint feel the pain usually I feel when I go to other places. Needing a haircut and colour while travelling is a worry. I chose this salon based on other reviews and I was delighted with the outcome. I just wish I could fly back to Melbourne everytime I need a cut and colour. The entire experience from consultation to blow wave was fantastic. I've had lots of favourable comments on the great cut and the colour has held well and maintained its shine.

I came across Accent on womo when I was looking for a new salon as my regular hair dresser left the country.
I booked an appointment for haircut with Lakeisha today based on several positive reviews and I got out of the salon feeling fabulous! They are so friendly and warm and do not hesitate to provide the best service. I am in LOVE with my haircut and the experience and don't have to spend several hours over the Internet to find a new hairdresser anymore!

I just had an amazing cut and colour with Lakeisha at Accent. Not only that, but when I mentioned that my eyebrows were overdue a reshape they fit me in for a quick threading appointment while I waited for my colour to set.
I left the salon with a great cut and even some shampoo and conditioner samples to try at home. Will definitely come back!

Having been forced to find a new hairdresser due to his long service leave and or possible retirement, I started asking everyone I knew who's haircuts/colours I admired. They all loved their hairdressers and I could understand why, but none were located in the CBD. I wanted a salon located between my home and my office, Accent ticked this box. Ugo very kindly fitted me at the time and date my schedule allowed (even though on the actual day I was sick with the plague of some sort). I knew what I wanted and after taking on Ugo's suggestions away we went. The result, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT! I was visiting Melbourne from interstate for girlfriends catch up lunch. Hair desperately needed a cut & blow wave. Randomly chose Accent after reading the reviews. Jackpot! Leikesha consulted thoughtfully, made great suggestions and I left the Salon feeling Happy with my new look. Bonus : a professional & friendly atmosphere & they offer a decent cup of coffee. I used a voucher for a Pamper Package so didn't get my hopes up for the treatments or service. The facial was the best I've ever had and I also had my eyebrows threaded and tinted giving me a completely fresh look. I'll definitely be treating myself at Accent Hair & Beauty on a regular basis.

The treatment was really nice: scalp massage, peeling, moisturizing... My skin felt finally alive again !

I love going to this salon. I think that one is listened to and wishes are respected. Suggestions are very sensitively given. I not only go to this salon for hair but also for facials and nails. Although the staff are very professional I always laugh alot and leave the salon feeling happy and very good about myself.

Décor is lovely, staff are very client-focussed, colours are always just right, but the best is the cut. Yay for being able to run wet hands through hair, quickly brush hair and walk out the door without looking back. I cannot recommend Accent highly enough. It's quality all the way.

Walked in without an appointment on a Thursday afternoon, and was instantly received, given a colour consultation, and proceeded to be treated like a princess by the lovely Lakeisha. I emerged with grey hair gone, colour even, and hair feeling like an angel had brushed it. Accent's attention to detail, gorgeous decor, excellent products and lovely team members each complement the highly professional approach to hair and beauty.
