I have been using this vet since we moved to Adelaide 6 years ago. They are always busy and a bit rushed with often different vets attending my dogs. The nurses are obliging and kind . I am watching a follow up call after a blood test taken for one of my dogs. The vet rang late in the evening the day of the tests but it was too late 9 pm for me . Haven’t heard back a week later . I think it can’t be serious but would like to know as it was over $80 for the tests. Just feel like this clinic has too many patients and not enough staff ( common problem these days)

We take our mice here (as well as having taken other animals in the past) and they are FANTASTIC! The staff are great, and we have found a couple of vets that are really knowledgeable about rodents which is quite a rare thing! The price is the same as all the other vets we've been to and they don't change extra for having an 'exotic pet' (ie not a dog or a cat) like other vets have. Also, if your pet has a specific problem that needs follow up consultations, the consultations get cheaper every time you come. We actually had a vet waive the fee once because we were basically in and out. The after hours emergency service is expensive, but that's reasonable and to be expected. There should be more emergency vets available, they have helped my pets in the middle of the night many times! The staff are so grea, spend a lot of time with you, and do A LOT of behind the scenes work to figure out what is going wrong with your pet. One vet spent hours of his own time pouring over research journals trying to figure out one problem, and another spent his personal time posting our case to international vet forums to get advice from vets on the other side of the world. I've also taken pets to be put down there and the staff are absulotely fantastic, gentle, compassionate, and make it a personal, and somehow positive, experience. Absolutely the best vet clinic I have ever come across.

I used to take my pets here, as they are open later in the evenings and on sundays. However, they are really expensive and always find extra things to charge you for. Also they should warn you in advance that unless you can pay the account in full on the day, they will not give your pet back and they will charge you for boarding in the meantime.

This practice has been my cat's vet for quite a few years now. As they have grown they have gotten busier, but usually the reception staff and the vet nurses are friendly. The vets are nice if a little rushed. Yes, things are expensive, but that happens anywhere. They do have cat boarding which is great for short stays, and they know my cat very well now.

adelaide vet hospital is an ok option for late night or exptreme emergency surgery cases. However we used to take my labrador there all the time as he is on tablets for epilepsy. They charged us triple what the new vet costs us for the tablets, and often wanted to actually book him in for an appointment and charge us for that too. so we changed

Awesome vet clinic. My kitten had a reaction to hi vaccinations and became quite ill, we rushed him here and they took such great care of him. I would recommend them in any emergency. The care is unsurpassed and people manner is fantastic.

Friendly, sympathetic, caring. Just what you need when your animal has been hit by a car, it's the middle of the night and you don't know whether they will survive or not. Great service.
