Poor veterinary advice. Worse vet service ever. Consulting vet approached issue in a jovial manner (5 mins to consult us, but 1 hour wait to be seen) and did not provide appropriate health treatment advice post-assessment, causing further impact on my dog and further difficulties with his healing from an injury. My dog has since been seen by his local vet where he is now on the path to mending... with medications given, which should have been provided during his original consult. Vets should not be laughing during consults when pet owners are clearly concerned, worried and trying to understand the situation their pet is in and how to help them to heal.

The vets were really good at treating and looking after my dog. However, they were quite expensive.

After exhausting all other options at 2 other vets we ended up here for our pet - no other vets could seem to diagnose his problem successfully. Dr Carter successfully diagnosed our dogs problem and has almost fixed it over the course of around 4 months. Very pricey, but worth it just to know that our dog is finally on the home stretch of recovery.
We also previously came here for another problem with our dog to see Dr Penny Tisdall - she was absolutely awesome to deal with - extremely thorough and I was so impressed. Again very very costly - I've spent literally $1000's of dollars here, but it's the kind of vet you go to only when your current vet can't help, so it's not like you'd go here for everyday treatment / vaccinations, so I think it's worth it. All the front desk ladies are also lovely and the premises itself is kept clean and modern. Good parking too.

Approximate cost: $1000

IF you LOVE your pet and can afford specialist treatment (cancer, heart surgery or skin problems, eyes, general health) or if you need a 24 hour vet service they are the people to go to. If they can't fix your pet - no-one can. They are very informative and give you an estimate before you leave your pet (if it needs to stay). They have all the ultra sound, xray equip and surgery equip. I have actually been into the operating area and some of the kennels. These people really do care about your beloved pet. They have treated two of my dogs, one for cancer and she was within 3 weeks of dying, and another as an emergency patient who swallowed something he shouldn't have. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They also have a website where you can read the bios. They were also on TV recently with a dog who couldn't use its back legs and they got a wheeled contraption in for it. They've also treated animals from the Adelaide zoo.
