By undertaking a thorough history of all of the body systems and varying symptoms, we were able to look into the root cause of the issue as opposed to trying to just treat the symptoms using prescription medications and restrictive lifestyle changes.

AF Health are able to refer for investigations that look deeper than those I was offered by my GP or specialist, resulting in resolution of not only symptoms but the root cause of the problem.

I was struggling with several health issues for years and had tried everything. As a last resort I tried a Naturopath. After 2 weeks, i felt better than I had since i can remember and dropped 5kg. The diet was a little difficult and there were many supplements, but i could see the justification for using this approach.

My biggest mistake was not going to AF Health years ago.

I had been intolerant to many foods. I would get bloating, brain fog and generally didn't feel well. I was diagnosed with IBS and was told by my GP that I just had to live with it and reduce my stress.

My partner suggested I try a Naturopath, i must admit, i was very sceptical. After doing a little Googling I found AF Health and booked an appointment. It was comforting to sit dow with someone for an hour and completely explain my situation. Right away Alex had an idea of what was going on.

We did some very comprehensive tests and picked up so many things going on. I was very overwhelmed with the dietary advice and supplements, and was still a bit sceptical, but I stuck with the program.

Within a couple of weeks I noticed a huge change in my bloating, food intolerance and brain fog. My persistent Psoriasis disappeared for the first time since I can remember.

What i liked most about consultation, is that Alex wasn't pushy with putting me on a diet or supplements, he simply explained what my best options were.

I went and saw Alex to help deal with my Anxiety issues. I had been struggling with crippling social anxiety and really needed some help. It's great to have a men's health service run by a man. The clinic has a relaxed friendly environment where I can talk openly about my health concerns. The consultations last over an hour, so they really get to the bottom of the issue and outline a realistic achievable plan. Much more thorough than the 10 minutes my doc gives me.

I cant' recommend ManUp enough. I had been struggling with health issues for years, many of which were said to be incurable. I am now off diabetic medication, lost 15kg and I feel healthier than when i was 20.

I now have the energy to play with my kids, and my wife says im so much happier!
