Called on Monday (not after hours) morning 10am for oven repair. A technician was booked to be at my place to fix the oven on Thursday between 12-5pm, as technician said they were fully booked. They did not mention any call out fees, neither do their website shows any fees. technician said they carry elements for all types of ovens. The technician had come around 2pm on Thursday and charged $155 from my 85 year old mum without fixing the oven. Technician had been in my home for less than 15 minutes. $100 was for call out fee and replacing fridge globe $55. I am really disappointed in their service. They could have called me if they have any questions. I certainly won't recommend "after hours appliance repairs" for anyone.

I have used After Hours twice in the past 18 months or so. Both times Peter was punctual, professional and polite. He quickly worked out what was wrong with my 20 year old washing machine, and fixed the problem. I have no hesitation in recommending this local business

Not exactly "after hours" - I rang at 9:00am Saturday and they couldn't come til Monday 1-5pm. Their rates were average for the area but they charged $120 for an old second-hand lid for my washing machine plus $80 to put it on with my arms and screws. The lid had stains all over it and looked like someone had cleaned their oven shelves on it. They said it would come off with bleach...well guess what! No it didn't even after 3 goes at it. NOT exactly my idea of good customer service and I certainly wont be recommending them or using them again.

Using After Hours Appliance Repairs was a good experience. The serviceperson was clear about the service call charges on the phone, gave an estimated time of arrival once we agreed a day and rang on the day to confirm his approximate arrival time. He was honest about what needed to be done and what was cosmetic and he was very matter-of-fact in his explanation of the problem. I was very satisfied with the service and about his knowledge of the appliance (oven). Would recommend this business to anyone with an appliance problem.

Rang at 11.30am expecting to have to wait a couple of days & was pleasantly surprised to have Peter at my door at2.20pm, same day !! Was able to make good my clothes dryer work without trying to flog me any expensive parts and charged only his call out fee (half of any others I had rung) and half an hours labour. Terrific service, knows his craft and a thoroughly nice gentleman.

great knowlege for "older appliances" answered any and all questions in terms that could be easily understood and was willing to take on extra work while on site. Rates were great and the flexibility with hours to attend site really suitable. well worth recommending!!
