Called Fish on the Grill at Highgate Hill last Saturday Anzac Day Evening wanting to make a large order for food packs we deliver yearly to Local War Veterans. The girl that answered the phone could not speak English and did not understand us at all, asked the Owner Charlie to speak to us or call us back to help order but he did not even have the decency to return our call and they lost the business to Sea Fuel in West End. Very shameful business and have now lost our local support and hopefully other locals who understand why we are upset at the non-service

Fish is always cooked well and the portions are a decent size. Service is good and price is very reasonable.

This fish and chip shop has recently changed hands and the new owners make really really great take away fish/chips etc. The product is fresh and the end results are not heavy with oil or overcooked - the oil is fresh and the shop itself is neat and clean. If you are looking for a fish and chip shop in the inner south (and there are not may - 3 that I know of including this one) this one is the cheapest and best.

this is the local fish and chip shop in our area of highgate hill. it is reasonably priced but can taste a bit oily at times. they have a bit of a veg section.
