This gym gets more and more run down by the day. The steam room smells.
Today I saw the gurneying the pool area with all the dirty water running into the pool when there was someone still swimming!
Are you for real? That was disgusting, washing all that mould, dirty water into the pool.
No wonder your membership is dropping everyday

I used to go to this gym awhile ago and was really happy with it. I noticed the negative reviews and thought I needed to correct the observation as there have been a lot of improvements done recently. New lighting and equipment has been installed and it's looking great. Enjoy swimming here as there are 3 pools (and a kids pool) and they're all heated. $5 for a swim is reasonable too.

I joined this gym when I moved to this area, staff are unhelpful and rude, there is a lingering stink in the air being an old renovated building, and parking is frustrating! Zero help from staff when I asked about cancelling, I went to a couple of classes and the womans area equipment and I set up a time with a personal training session, but have not returned after attending for the first month.... I had also enrolled my 6yo in swimming classes there, but have since changed to a different place now due to how rude the staff were to us. I would not recommend this place.

I was going to AJ's up until a year ago. It's right next to Algester Primary so really handy to drop off the kids and then go in. I personally think that it needs a bit of updating as they're not short of members. They've got all of the standard excercise equipment plus an indoor (extremely stuffy and uncomfortable if you're not swimming) and small outdoor pools. Good local gym with very friendly and helpful staff.

All members of the family use the their services and enjoy the services some do not make it there as much as they should.

Great staff and services. Love the classes. The place looks like it could use a coat of paint but they make up for it in range of service and instructors.

My friend suggested that we attend the aqua aerobics at AJ's Sports Centre to supplement our daily exercises using our cardiac twister. The gym was just near and accessible so I agreed. I never regretted going there. Although the gym looks like it needs some renovation or upgrading, it still has its good points. Firstly, the fees are quite reasonable. At $15/ session or $ 20 for any 2 facilities you use, it was an affordable way to unwind, relax and shape up! The staff are very helpful and our aqua aerobics instructress is awesome!! she is warm , friendly and full of energy that her presence itself is a great motivator for wanting to come back each week. I now attend the class every thursday night and looks forward to it each week.

I Have been a member of AJ's for quite a while now and i think it is one of the best value gym's around, some of the equipment is quite old but with the variety of things and services that are available it makes up for it...numerous pools, saunas, weights rooms, ladies room, squash courts, aerobics and i'm sure there's more.

Parking there is very frustrating at times. Other than that, it is ok and Always kept clean and tidy. The centre has Great swimming facitities.

I go here every now and then for a swim. The place is well kept and just had renovations. It's not got the newest looking stuff but it is clean, the staff are friendly and healthful and its not to expensive
