The mechanic contacted me today to complain about my review. In the review I did mention that he tried to charge me more than the quoted price until I refused to pay the extra then he absorbed the extra cost. I took him for a drive and showed him the steering pulling to the left. He tried to tell me that this was normal. He said in his reply that he rectifies problems that they cause. (Wrong) He wasn't interest in fixing the problem just interested in getting out of my car as quick as he could. Al Palmers mechanic should not have rang me to complain about my review. This is the first review that I have ever written and I wanted to warn other consumers as to what happened to me. That is what reviews are all about. Maybe if they conducted themselves better they wouldn't be getting bad reviews. As I said before I won't be back.

I simply called you to discuss what your problem with us and our service was, in person. Not hiding behind a keyboard and computer screen. To put it simply and truthfully, your claims about us damaging the steering on your car are false.

If this is how you talk to your customers you will undo all the hard work your dad did to build your business over the last 40 years. I personally don't think that blaming your customers for your Incompetence will keep you in business for to long. I'm not hiding behind a computer screen. I came back to complain. (Remember) When you quickly hoped out of my car accepting no responsibility for the steering issue that you had caused. I'm not entering into a tit for tat argument with you, just for leaving a review that I feel is warranted . Good luck in the future and try not to undo all the had work that your dad (Al Palmer) did to make your business a success.
