When it comes to food, it would be described as typical classic pub fair but overpriced because you don't come here for the food.

They employ great MCs that warm up the crowd nicely.

This is the place to see comedy in Brisbane, which is why I have been there more than once (let's face it, not for the food).

Update on our last visit . Cost is $25 or free tickets on your birthday. Food and drinks extra tho you dont have to eat.We took our nephew here for his birthday after being a few times ourselves and having a nice time and a few laughs.
Well this night was a total disaster . The place is over crowded and you cant see the stage comfortably from the sides .we were seated on the left of the stage at the back wall near a props room . The lights wernt on so we had to use our phones to see the menu! The small,overhead lights were off on a fair few tables,we all had the same problem up back .partner went and got drinks for us and got jugs so that we didn't have to go back. Our meals didn't arrive until after the half time break,we were starving and the jug of drink my nephew had devoured way before the meal arrived. The place was still in darkness up the back and when the girl finally brought our meals she fell up the step that wasnt lit on the floor and my partners meal went all over him and burnt his hand somewhat,wasnt her fault,think managment wasnt spot on this night! Food went all over his shirt and so that ruined taking our nephew to the casino later on. Didn't wash out. Partner was disgusted and I went to the front desk to ask for an ice pack and told what happened , 5 min later a manager came out with a damp towel,I was after an ice pack for his hand and had asked ,she went to my man and apologised,still all in darkness, took his name and ph number, I asked should a wphs report be made and she said she will do it and contact him next week. Waited another 15 min for replacement meal for him. I had fish and salad which the salad left a lot to be desired , a few lettuce leaves , one small tomato and grated carrot and some sort of oily dressing,,that was it! Fish was from a box as it tasted hard and un inviting. We have never had problems with lighting or food before. The show was very funny and the comedians were a lot of fun.
Very hard to eat in the dark and having all the tables and chairs so squashed together makes it hard to keep getting out especially when people sit their chairs in the exits made between tables. The lights on the floor steps were actually turned on after the poor waitress fell up them! Not good. No one ever contacted my partner about that night and he isnt one to make fuss but they need to up their game . Never been disappointed here before. Nephew thought the comedians were funny and enjoyed his rice dish.
Foods about $25 plus. They need to not have such a crowd there to make it more comfortable for the patrons ,so accidents dont happen. Will give it another try later in the year

Recently saw a show here and had dinner both show and dinner were good. Got free passes for birthday so will be going back. Good atmosphere, odd location though.

Never been let down coming here! They always have great entertainment! Only thing is the drinks should be charged the same as being in the comedy part! They are nearly double the price in the main bar

Went here for a birthday and the meal was great and drinks were a good price. The comedian was okay. The parking is not so great. Would go back again if sent out free tickets as they do this for birthdays, I have never received mine though :-/

Cramped uncomfortable room difficult to view the stage from some seats, have been twice saw one great show and one not so great, food is okay but not a reason to visit

This comedy club is okay. Not a fan of the set up of tables side view to the stage. However meals are yum and good prices. Get free tickets sent out for birthday each year so cant complain. Been twice and comedians were good. Waiting for the hypnotist comedian show!

This place is wicked! The comedians are hilarious, I especially love the hypnosis comedy show. Its great that they send out tickets on your birthday too. The food is delicious and the service is off the charts

I always enjoy seeing the comedians at the Albion Comedy Club & Restaurant with our group of friends. The food and beverage is always so delicious with so much variety to choose from there set menu. The service is always polite, prompt and always with a smile. I will definitely be returning to the Albion Comedy Club in the near future.

Been here about 4 times and never disappointed. Once you go you fill in your details for email and pop it in the box and when its your birthday you get 4 x free tickets for the show. The atmosphere is fun,the comedians are usually well known,one guy shane has a artificial leg and carries on the jokes about it to no end ,he's so funny. Triple mmm guys are there, so are the lovely lady comedians that just crack everyone up and involve the audience. The food,which you don't have to have dinner but you shouldn't miss it is scrumptious, rather large servings for the price. Well worth the value.get i. Line early for food orders and drinks, get jugs of drinks so you don't have to leave the fun. Everywhere you sit is great view of the stage. A terrific night out and only costing you dinner if you want to do that. We always have tears from laughing. Do it!
