I can't comment on the value or the quality because the service - actually, lack of - got in the way.

Last Christmas (& I'm remembering this now, mid the next year, given I'm asked - but that's how word of mouth works...), I wanted to buy some extra parts for my son's drum kit. I walked into Allan's Music because it's the closest music store to my home. I thought for sure I'd get good kit there.

I waited AGES to be attended to, and my FIRST (but not last) question was about a metronome. I was shown to a wall of them - then the attendant walked away!! I had so many questions (on other items too), but as he'd left me to fumble through the various metronomes, I just decided ' better to go into Richmond where my son LEARNS drumming, and go to The Drum Shop there'. That was a good move.

A fairly large music store, boasting quality musical instruments, Sheet Music, Technology and staff. The staff are willing to help you with any question you may have (concerning music of course) and will generally give you a useful answer.

I have bought a keyboard and an electric guitar here on two different occasions. i found they have a reasonably good range, competitive prices and the staff were very helpful. The staff helped me choose an instrument that met my needs.

I recently purchased an electric guitar from the Kew outlet. The pricing was the best I had seen for the particular model I was after and even though a unit with the exact specifications was not on hand it only took around 5 days to come in.
