My Husband & I have going to Am Pangs for around 10 years, how lucky are we :)
I have tried so many of their dishes and all have been tasty and well balanced, have never been disappointed.
Currently I am totally addicted to the Curry Laska soup, not the one off the menu, but the one you choose which noodle you'd like and can choose up to 6 dumplings of your choice, the choice of dumplings is huge, but I particularly love the steamed prawn dumplings and the been curd skin stuffed with either chicken or fish. I also add a dash of their house made chilli jam and a few pickled green chillies....yum, yum, yum.
The staff are always efficient and friendly
The menu has also been enhanced, all the same favourites, plus many new menu items, just to name a few...pippies, whole flounder, etc. etc.

I'm a regular customer for this Malaysia restaurant, most like twice a week. I love their curry laksa and also their Fried Kuay Teow. Their service was very extremely fast even the place was fully - crowded. The price of their menus are reasonable inexpensive, starting from $10-11.50 for a proper main meal. As I live nearby to this restaurant, I would normally call for my order and it normally takes around 10 minutes for the meal to be ready. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for the residents nearby!

Expectations were high due to all the hype of this place, but it very much fell short. I've been here at least 5 times and had a different dish every time, not once was the quality above what I would expect from a food court. Very average.

I've never been disappointed with their range of authentic Malaysian food. My favorites are Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Char, Chicken Mushroom fried rice and seafood fried noodles. My husband loves their Nasi Lemak and Yong Tofu... value for money and you wont be disappointed! :) They even sell durians, all you have to do is ask :)

This is our "local" - great for when I don't feel like cooking. Very quick, not too oily, very tasty, and you can phone/pick up, too. Gets a bit busy on the weekends, but there should be enough seats. And the best is that they're super great on value. We call it the "ten dollar shop", as everything is priced at around $10.
On the weekends, they also have special meals, like assam laksa and ba ku teh.

Great for a quick bite and take away to enjoy in front of the telly. Fast service as you would expect from any Asian take-away. Food never disappoints which is great to know what you can expect everytime.

Looking for a quick lunch on the run out in the Eastern 'burbs and want to confuse yourself with the selections? Just head to Ampang Tofu (also known as ren ren in mandarin). This small shop with a few tables is great for a quick lunch on the run of noodles in soup, curries and other Malaysian Dishes. Popular dishes include Mee Goreng (thick yellow noodles with vegetables, tofu, chicken and a hint of chilli) or try the Yeung To Fu which allows you to select a range of tid bits to include with your noodles in soup. This ranges from fish cake okra, eggplant, prawn dim sims, and other little delights cooked on the spot for you. Normal range of drinks is available and decor is ruled by a large photo of the petronas towers on ones side of the restaurant - imagine you're having lunch outside a hawker stall back in Kuala Lumpur!

Approximate cost: $10-12
