I stopped at Anaconda on the way back from Brisbane in July this year. I had to buy a camping dinner set for one person for one of the kids for a camp, a plate, dish and cup that would be good for camping and wouldnt break. I had looked around but couldnt find what I wanted, I did find what I wanted here though, a really good quality set that I didnt mind paying for as both kids can use them for all future camps. I was pointed in the right direction by one of the staff, I found them very helpful.

We went there for valentine's day to use the rock climbing pinnacle. We had a blast. It was something a little different to do and for $8 we were allowed to have as many goes as we wanted. We had someone there to show us what to do and to supervise and give advice and encouragement. We just went at it until our arms were aching adn we couldn't climb any more.

it's a great shop for the outdoors person. They have evrything you could want. The only time I shop ther is when they are having a sale. I couldn't go otherwise as they are a little expensive otherwise.Good place to browse, and easy to park.

I can't really afford to shop here if there aren't any sales, but I do like the shop and atmosphere here. I keep my eye open for the sales, and then I go and spend a couple of hours there. They have a large selection of fishing gear that I can never get enough of, camping gear too. I love fishing so I generally focus on that. We bought a couple of camp chairs there last time and we love them. I recommend them, because if you buy it here, it's bound to last.

Love this shop, very good quality, good service, always got specials and love the fact that they send out brochures on a regular basis.

I have shopped at Anaconda since it opened and have always enjoyed the experience, the staff are helpful the atmosphere is relaxed, the variety of outdoor and camping gear is huge. I bought some things on Sunday, and when I received the latest catalogue on Tuesday, I saw the things I bought were on sale for 50% off. I am happy to say that they refunded me half the price I paid, so got the discount anyway. The staff member MIke, was really nice during the process of the refund, which would have been a pain for him to do, but he was very gracious to me. It is the best outdoor adventure store any where. Would recommend them highly.
