Unless you have no other option, and your pets on deaths door, avoid this disgraceful joint like the plague. Charged $469 for a vet to wash a cut on my dogs head. Quoted 3k for stitching the wound up, my regular vet charged one third of that the next morning and saw to him immediately instead of basically ignoring him for two hours. Should be called last resort money spinner.

My pup was hit by a car and was rushed to broadmedow emergency and from the get go they were amazing. They constantly updated us on his condition and the estimated bill and I never felt uninformed. All the staff, from the administration ladies to the nurses and doctors, everyone was so kind.
I felt like my pup was in great hands the entire time.

I had to take my cat into the centre twice this week and on both occasions the staff, service and treatment were excellent. We are very fortunate to have such an excellent service available to us when it is required.

We had to attend AREC on a Saturday night for our little dog, the staff were so friendly and accomodating. Our pup had to stay over night and we were called first thing in the morning to give us an update and advise we could go pick up our little man. Would certainly recommend

Amazing people, looked after our boy so well when he broke his leg. Everything was explained and upfront. Highly recommend them, but hope My silly puppy is more careful and I don’t have to use them again!!

A big thank you to Dr Geoff and all the fabulous staff for treating my 14 year old dog, who presented with kidney failure. The care that was provided was excellent, The staff kept me informed of his progress & made me welcome to call in any time to visit my pet.

Thank you to Dr Secculi and team for providing such great care of my cat Mickey after his accident. We were overseas when it happened but he was seen to quickly and cared for in a very professional and caring way.

We were devastated when our cat was hit by a car. We arrived at AREC and they immediately gave him pain relief and looked after us. The staff were extremely kind in going through our options and allowed us to take our time in making our decision regarding his treatment.

Excellent service from AREC. We had a possible emergency with our 9-month old puppy, and they dealt with it very quickly and professionally. We would definitely recommend them if you have a pet emergency.

My fur baby had an allergic reaction or insect bite. Brought her in, was seen immediately and examined very soon after. Staff were friendly, kind and excellent with my fur baby. We were in and out within 1.5hr!!

Amazing service from all of the caring staff, and the incredible surgery performed on our Jess. This was the only vet hospital in NSW that would attempt to do this surgery to save our dogs leg. We cant thank the staff enough for their exemplary and ongoing care. For us the price was irrelevant.

I would recommend AREC to anyone the service was exceptional they are so caring not only to the animals but there owners also. I am a grandmother who was caring 4 my grandchildren s puppy they had only had 4 2 weeks who are ratsak a beautiful man talked 2 me for the entire car trip 2 the centre they were absolutely amazing I can't thank them enough 4 all they did 4 us with a great outcome.

The service I received from AREC was exemplary. They are not only professional and knowledgeable but they also really care for both the animal and the owner.
If you have an emergency the staff at AREC are the people you want taking care of your pet.

It was 4am when we discovered our had a massive allergic reaction, face fully swollen and almost not breathing. We called up, drove their and got in straight away. They administered treatment immediately and saved our dogs life. The Staff were brilliant and incredibly skilled in such a stressful situation. We cannot thank them all enough.

Our poor dog was bitten by a brown snake when we were not home and was in a bad shape after an hours drive from our home to the clinic. The staff were amazing both initially and in the following hours and days. Despite the late hour - 2 am - their professionalism, respect for us and obvious care and concern for our dog was to be absolutely commended. Everything was explained and any questions we had were clearly answered. Needless to say, she recovered and is doing very well, quite extraordinarily as she was very unwell. Thank you to everyone at the centre.

We were absolutely pleased with his treatment. He was obviously well cared for.

My cat was attacked by 2 dogs and was referred here by my local vet as her injuries were so bad. I have been well informed and kept up to date with her progress and I have always spoken to the treating vet when I have called. Excellent service, not cheap but worth it.

Customer service was brilliant, care taken at such a late time of night was also much appreciated. Waiting time was around an hour which is to be expected. Would highly recommend this organisation.

They see us and our pets at our worst. They are compassionate, caring and efficient. Given expenses of a vet can be considerable, I appreciated that staff made sure I was aware of costs before I drove in to Newcastle and thence when having the consult.

Tyson, in particular, is a gem. I hope his manner and quality of care is appreciated by the business as he is the kind of quality employee that every workplace needs.

Our cat, Meow, is fine. Gratefully, she didn't need more than a consult however I would not hesitate to use their services again if needed.
