The centre has been renovated, it's well looked after and very spacious. It's also well equipped. I like the fact that you can be a member and have access to the pool and gym as well as various classes. Customer service which can be improved. Given the numbers of people in and out the door on a daily basis though, that may be challenging for some. A smile works wonders in my book.

Such a great pool. With both indoor and outdoor pools there is something for everyone. I enjoy the outdoor pool area in summer and the indoor pool for swimming laps. I have had a trial at the gym which is quite small however it is being redone which could see improvements to that. Membership however is very pricey compared to other bigger gyms.

I quite like this pool but in school holidays it can get quite stuffy and crowded. They should have a wave pool or something! I don't go there very often though because so crowded and too many kids.

Do not send your child for swimming lessons here.
If you are a busy parent, please do not waste your time but sign your child up for lessons at another swimming pool. My experience was that the swimming lessons/organisation of the place was complete shambles.

More expensive than Aqualink nearby. Aquarena charges $6.90 per entry whilse Aqualink is $5.80. Aquarena indoor pool is 25 metres and outside pool is 50 metres whilst Aqualink in Nunawading indoor pool is 50m.

I have been to at least 15 gyms over the course of my life and this is the best by a long shot. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, the equipment is great, the classes are fantastic, the cafe and pool area is excellent, and the childcare is clean and lovely. I have nothing bad to say at all. The monthly fee for a gold membership is really reasonable $74 considering that you get everything included.

Approximate cost: $74

I used to love coming here but stopped when it started to become overcrowded. There seems to be no limit to the numbers of people they allow into the group exercise classes. Once the doors open people storm into the room like stampeding cattle. Every available inch of floor space is taken up. Very stressful experience. The other thing I really hated was that they closed for much of January, which is when I have a lot of free time. The place was actually closed for the first week of January while they redid the floors. Despite having paid for membership, there were no classes. Very disappointing. They don't seem to really care about their members.

A little more expensive than other facilities, but worth it for the quality. There is a large indoor pool, outdoor pool, moderate sized toddler pool, baby pool, spa, sauna, gym & creche.
We take our daughter there for swimming lessons and the teachers rival that of other pools we have tried in the area. The pool isn't over-chlorinated thankfully, so it doesn't sting your eyes underwater as much as other pools do.
The change rooms have recently been renovated and are light and spacious. And the little cafe is lovely, although service isn't terribly speedy, it's worth the wait.
The car-park is up the hill, so be sure to save some energy for the walk back to your car afterward!

Aquarena is my first choice for swimming. It is near and we can go there by car or using public transport. The indoor pool is a little small and sometime a lot of people try to swim and play in small area.

I have recently been attending Aquarena for a swim. But what I found was as well as a lovely indoor pool, it also has a heated 50m outdoor pool, a steam and spa area, lovely clean change rooms, a coffee shop to rival Gloria Jeans, beautiful grassed areas with bbq and a complete gym. Now individually these were leaning to the high price end of the market but as a complete package I thought it would be great value

Approximate cost: $69/month
