Loved this place. Really nice layout: busy without feeling claustrophobic and seemed to be a separate queue for takeout coffees, so kept things moving smoothly. Fantastic range of foods and drinks with lots of vege/vegan options. Food came out promptly and was delicious as was the coffee. Wish I hadn't waited so long to try this cafe.

Quirky organic/hippy type vibe that really works.

We had breakfast here and the range of coffee, although I don't drink it, sounds interesting. I settled on a white hot chocolate which was great and reasonably priced.

Breakfast included some of the world's most perfect bacon, and amazing stack of pancakes, and was served hot and fast.

Now to try for lunch!

Having a cup of good coffee and a satisfying lunch this is where I'll go. Service is good and staffs friendly. Food has a good portion with reasonable prices. Near the bus stops so its easy to get there. ;)

Approximate cost: $11

Argo is right near where I work and I haven't even tried it yet! I know where I will be heading for lunch next week now. Thanks!

These guys do the most amazing New York hot dog! It's a Kransky sausage with cheese and onion jam and at less than $10, it's a perfect lunchtime treat!

And the outdoor seating area is very lovely, green and beautiful and perfect for people watching. It's always in demand!

But I did go to Argo's on my birthday for a quick birthday lunch with my best friend and we had hotdog and salad. The dogs were so delicious, as usual, but the expensive salad (around $17) was really ridiculous!

It was only a little roast veges and crouton toast and cheese on a huge bed of too-bitter rocket and baby spinach that neither of us wanted to eat. We each had a few mouthfuls of the nice things and left the rest. If you're going to advertise a roast vege salad, it seems to me it should have a lot of the key ingredients, rather than cheaping out on crappy greens. Hahaha.

So the salad was a total fail but the hotdogs were amazing. I still left happy and full, and will definitely return.

But i think this lovely business, which has a lot to offer, would do well to rethink the salads on their menu.

Do visit, but avoid the salad!

Approximate cost: $8.50 - 18

Lovely little shop, conveniently located in the heart of the city. I sometimes catch a tram in and park out further to mak more of a day of it. They also support local artists by displaying their work which adds to the atmosphere.
