I used to love this place while they still had a pizza menu, now that they've taken it off, I don't like it as much. Last few times I went there, the food has been average bordering on below average. Last time I was there I ordered a slice of mud cake for dessert and it came out so cold that it was solid so I did not end up finishing it. The place is ok but not great. I think there are much better restaurants in Newtown.

Below average ay? Certainly not worth my time or money then.

I like this restaurant and often go there when in Sydney. Staff are nice and friendly and attentive. I like the food especially as they are happy to deviate from the menu without a fuss. The coffee is good and it has a pleasant atmosphere.

Well the first impression, looks great. Nice place really. You can tell that whoever put this place together thought of everything. Then the staff. Ultra nice. I had a small order, but they didn't mind at all, so that's always good. I'd love to have tried some of their lovely looking food, but I had a huge breakfast so stuck to a cup of coffee and OJ.

I'd love to come back to try their meals!

This is a handy cafe in the Heart of Newtown, that has very good coffee, and great food, they will make things off menu or of course of the menu, so its good if you feel like something different. So if they have the ingredients they will try for you.
I love there pancakes with the freshly sliced fruit and maple syrup, I add bacon and its a treat. The guys behind the bar are very nice and do know their regulars, but the wait staff change a bit so its like you have to tell them everything again, but thats Ok they are all interesting as they come from different places, from around the world. Look this is not sheik, I wouldnt say its even Newtown trendy, but it good Honest food and excellent sized portions. The full wall Mural is fun to look at if womo had photo attachment I would attach a photo of the wall and there coffees, they are art too.
At time of our last visit Sunday 6th we had all had a bad nights sleep, maybe due to the Super Moon, which is when the moon is closest to the Earth.
I Can highly recommend.

Approximate cost: $12.00 to $18.00

Thank you again for another wonderful review that has introduced me to a great cafe. WOMO must be so impressed with your reviews they are up there amongst the very best. Few people take the time to review in a good, candid way, and give some useful information.

This cafe has a great atmosphere, very modern with waterfall windows in the background and some outdoor seating. I've been here twice, once I only had tea, and the other time I had a tomato risotto dish. The food was good, though not great, and the servings were a bit too generous- I only ate half the risotto then I was full. There's lots of pastas, gourmet style burgers (like tandoori chicken), and risottos on offer for around $12-14 as well as lots of breakfast dishes. Overall, a nice place to eat at.

This is one of the better places to eat in Newtown but not the best. Very run of the mill options that aren't executed that well, I had a medium to well-done steak and it kind of tasted like charcoal. The servings are huge but the taste kind of bland. Service is good though.

Approximate cost: $20+
