Astra Limousines Review

I'd give Astra Limousines negative stars if I could.

This company's behaviour was utterly despicable.

Astra Limousines’ failed to provide the transport services required for our wedding day, which took place on Saturday 4th April 2015 at the Park Hyatt Hotel, Sydney.

They took our money and provided no service.

I say again - OUR WEDDING DAY.

We have full documentation clearly demonstrating both the cash transfers and the extensive email and phone communications that began in May 2014, making sure that everything was in place. The last communication occurred 1 week before the event - which was a phone call confirming this all.

I have e-mailed, called and posted on their Facebook page... no answers to any and my posts are deleted from Facebook within 5 minutes of it being posted. They obviously haven't done this sort of thing too many times before because in the phone call the day after the wedding:

- The manager refused to give me his name.
- The manager told me I was "lying" (several independent witnesses can verify this conversation).
- The manager told me he "would take me to the Supreme Court". (several independent witnesses can verify this conversation also).
- The manager bullied and belittled me constantly throughout the conversation.

These threats would be hilarious if they weren't so utterly despicable - as I say, not sure they're overly switched on..."THE SUPREME COURT"!

Anyway, we were expecting 4 chauffeured black Audi A8's and not one arrived- despite us having paid in full for them.

Everyone who was to be transported was ready an hour in advance so your no show meant all those involved were late to the ceremony. The flow on affect here was additional costs to arrange last minute options (for our wedding.... the biggest day of your life), the ceremony was delayed so costs being passed on by the venues for this and, of course, the stress of this going wrong.

Their motto and commitment ... "Nothing but the best will do for the biggest day of your life". So I say again - utterly despicable.

And I wonder if Astra realise this...but the Park Hyatt Sydney was a first-hand witness to all of Astra's negligence. This is one of the most high-profile hotels in Sydney, internationally recognised for its high standards.

Intelligent business sense there...
