Don’t even think about them. I am so glad about that we have an insurance at least. That is our only luck.

We did receive someone else’s box as part of our delivery. It was over-labelled (our label was on top of another label 100% covering it).

They ignored talking to us for more than 3 weeks and when we finally managed to get in touch with them the branch manager promised to sending us updates same day. We did not hear from them for another 3-4 days and I needed to email them for information which they promised to send and surprisingly we did receive nothing.

They cannot locate our box. On top of that they even said that we don’t have a missing box. There were just some labelling issues and their staff miscounted the boxes... (I’m sorry what ?!?!?!) but it’s obvious on the paperwork that’s not the case. We also identified missing items (e.g. a lamp, but on the box their crew described the content as kitchenware and clothes) and even I had to explain them how did that happen having a missing item which is not under the same category as their staff’s handwriting described the content. (Again, whaaat????!??!?!) This IN SANE.
Their stuff is packing the boxes, labelling them and writing notes regarding the content of it. I have nothing to do with that.

I never experienced such a poor quality service and ignorant customer service in New Zealand.

Our second shipment did not arrive yet and we have a missing box from the first shipment. I’m so disappointed, upset and also terrified whether our belongings will finally arrive safe after that?

We had quite good experience with Allied Pickfords in the past and our friends used Transworld, I recommend to chose one of them for your own sake and to avoid the same experience and nightmares we are going through with Ausmove.

Before I start my rant, PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THEM AT ANY COST! So we moved our luggage from Auckland to Brisbane and got a quote from these guys (we paid over $6500). Since I wasn't in Auckland at the time of the move, I signed some paper saying that I am not going to be there and my mother was in charge. So these guys went to pack at the property on the date as prescribed and did a terrible job packing. Long story short, the following things went wrong:

-> a lot of the items on the list were packed in boxes so I ended up paying double for the same item. The signed form was used against me.

-> Idiots were sent to pack where one of the packed items included a sock, pair of scissors and a roll of thread (properly paper wrapped). One package contained a used paint pot (obviously something to be disposed) with paper wrapping.
-> Soo much paper was used that I felt like I was paying for shipping paper. To add to it the bed headboard and some of the crockery items broke during shipping.

-> Never to worry, I paid $650 for insurance but they never sent me an insurance form once I told them how unhappy i was with their service. I asked to talk to the boss and I am still waiting...

-> The service included assembly of beds and large items of furniture. But the packing crew put the legs for one of the beds in the boxes without any labelling so the crew in Brisbane was left helpless and again I paid for something I didn't get.

-> We were allowed to fill up the drawers and beds with linen as per the advised procedure but somewhere in the packing process, the crew decided to empty them out without letting us know and filled up the paid boxes with them.

Again I can't emphasis how disgusting my experience was and if I can save 1 person from going with these scammers, I think my time posting this is worth it.

Great removalists, we moved at the start of the year and they were fantastic, nothing was broken or damaged as we had happen with another company. They were quick and careful.
