Ausplants Nursery

Phillip is extremely helpful particularly when you need guidance in selecting suitable plants for particular positions in the yard. He also has a large variety of plants to select from.

This is a one man show, run from his house.

Never-the-less, the range of plants is extensive. Philip, the owner operator has the most expansive and detailed knowledge of native plants that I have ever encountered.

Because it is a one man show, some of the plants look a little unloved but I have never lost a plant that I have bought from there, possibly because they are sun hardened and already tough.

Prices a average but the range is extensive. The nursery is only open on Saturday between 9am and 1pm and if Philip is away for any reason, the nursery is attended by his very sweet and very old mother. Her knowledge of plants is not as great as his, so my advice is to email Philip beforehand if you don't know exactly what you want to buy.
