As a mother with young kids, this service has been a life-saver for us.
Having milk, bread, eggs, cheese, and juice delivered has made doing the rest of the shopping so much faster and easier.
We have a standing order, and it's easy to change it with an email or phonecall, and you have until 2pm the business day before.
We had the fruit/veg delivery for a while and it was great (the quality was fantastic except for a few instances) but the problem was not being able to choose: we just don't eat that many carrots or that much lettuce.

We used their fruit and veggie service for about 6 months. I cancelled it today as for the last few weeks we have been recieving sub par produce. Some fruit was arriving rotten or squashed. A cos lettuce we recieved came with 5 leaves on it. Not 5 usuable leaves. Just 5 leaves of lettuce in total. i was excited to get 6 figs in the box yesterday, but was less than happy when I removed them from their packaging to find them all rotting and inedible.
I am not sure what has happened but I am kind of sad and disappointed to have to part ways with this company as it has been very convenient and the price is good when you compare it with the large supermarket chains (though you could probably do better at the market). It is also a little annoying that you cannot choose what you need for the week. There were a few weeks where we got a lot of fruit and not many veggies, which doesn't really help when it comes to mealtimes.

Approximate cost: $35/week

What happens is that the company sometimes changes F&V suppliers, because they have 40,000+ customers it can be hard sometimes to keep track of some items, this is why you are not charged untill the following week, if this happens again just ring and tell them, they will give you a free box and sort out the issue...

...no point steaming by yourself.

We have been using them for a few months now. Just for bread and milk (except an unfortunate cheese overload when I kept forgetting to cancel the cheese each week and we ended up with so much cheese it wasn't funny)

I like that I don't have to remember to buy the milk, so we never run out.... I'm a bit torn between supporting farmers and paying a bit more, or getting cheaper supermarket stuff. They are about the same as a standard middle range supermarket product, but more expensive than generic brands.

I like to pick my own fruit and veg and get it from a cheap greengrocer, so the boxes aren't something I'm interested in - I'm not into a mystery box... if I could pick (a kg potatoes, 1/2kg tomatoes etc.) then I'd be more interested in that, and we are only a small family, so don't need as much as larger families, (we have our own chooks, don't drink juice, don't use butter etc), so that makes it a bit hard to get up a big order with them with their current line of products... and because we only want a delivery once a week (you only get free delivery if you order 3 things or more), our delivery is on Friday morning... which means the bread is stale by Monday, so that's inconvenient... in our area if you have 2 deliveries a week you have it on Tuesday and Friday. We've actually stopped our bread delivery since we've been having problems with it going moldy quicker than supermarket bread.

I hope they expand their range and suburbs they deliver to, as it's a great idea. I would prefer a system where they leave an order form with you, you can fill it out and leave it with your bags and they deliver that to you next time - it would make it easier to try new things and change your order, as I find it inconvenient to ring up to change my order (because I keep forgetting... and that leads to things like the too much cheese incident - good thing it had a long use before date!) I was advised by the guy who signed me up that e-mailing can be slow, so to do everything over the phone.

It's been one of the best experience of home delivery that the whole family enjoy ! every week we are impatient to receive our box of fresh fruits and veggies. We chose not knowing what's inside so it's a surprise as to what we gonna eat the rest of the week ! it's great !

Approximate cost: $25$ for veggie pack

The days of home delivery for milk and bread are back! This company not only offers fine farm produce but delivers it with a level of customer service not seen in most modern businesses. Old-fashioned values from a young innovative company ... a match made in heaven!

Approximate cost: $good

We've been using Aussie Farmers for a few weeks now and I have to say I am extremely impressed. We get milk, eggs, coffee, butter, bread and juice in two deliveries every week and we are discussing getting fruit and veggies now as well. Their prices compare very well to the supermarkets, the staff we have had contact with are very friendly and its just so handy not having to remember the basics. They

A young Irish backpacker signed us up to this service, with a pitch supporting the local farmer. The food quality is good and it's comforting that basic things can be delivered to your door. I look forward to my Saturday mornings, picking up the paper and milk from my front door.
They are also pretty good about times when no-one's home.

We signed up with this business for home delivery of milk and bread when it was just starting out. Once a week Aussie Farmers delivered our goods to our front door before we were up in the morning in their supplied cooler bag. We even added on a delivery of eggs and cream to alternate fortnightly with our milk and bread order. All dealings we had with this company were excellent. The quality of the food was excellent. When we stopped using them they were also branching out to incude fresh fruit and veg delivery. Sadly being a house of two we found we were having trouble getting through our weekly order as our work schedule can be busy and we occasionally eat out. For a family this would be great and I would definately use again in the future and recommend to others.
