Not transparent, salesmen will lie to get the sale. Build took double the contracted time.
When items were removed because of a change in planning restraints and a decrease in cost, they lied about having to install a second sink well.
Over 12 months after hand over and no contact for the 12 month follow up. A very stressful experience affecting the excitement and the attachment to our home.

We met with a sales consultants and spent hours explaining to him what we needed in our new place and when the land will be ready. The consultant went away and promised us that we will have the house price/ drawing within 10 days. We heard nothing from him for 2 weeks- then just a phone call (after followin up) advised us that due to our land is not ready now, they will charge us a fee to prepare the drawing/ quote. Well, you lost my business at that point...

We had aveling homes build next door to our investment property. they tok down a fence, spilt concrete on it, and broke a bit of our retaining wall. I must admit, one phone call to them, and as soon as they had finished in that area- they made everything good again- just as well as we had just sold it and didn't want the new young couple to have any problems!

Average builder, with average problems, at first seems great, after not so great. DO NOT LET THEM BULLY YOU. They will try and cut corners and its your job to jump on their back about it.

The constructing of the house isn't to bad, seen and heard A LOT worse, just the problems they cause is what annoys me, but not too bad.
